You did an excellent job on that dress. I have that pooh fabric, just staring at me not sure what to do with it. That is so adorable and it will perfect for pooh!

I posted pics of the Wiggles appliques on this thread. I'm not sure where they are but it was back in early June - no later than mid June.

I am sure this has been mentioned before but how old are your girls? They are so cute and my 3 year old thinks so too. She saw a picture of them and goes how my goodness they are soooo cute. It was a sweet thing!

May I have the bows seller too? I just bougth mickey mouse shirts with macthing hairbows and I am looking into getting disney outfits for the whole trip. Does anyone kn ow where I can get Hawaiian pprint outfits for girls size 7 and 10/12? Thanks

ok, when I applique I do not use regular thread. it is too think and will completly bunch up and get crazy.I use a very thin rayon. also the same in the bobbin. that will make it look smoother and it will not bunch up. I also make sure it is adheared to the fabric with a heat n bond first. it helps it from moving and looking wrinkled. also make sure you use a stabilizer behind the fabric area you are sewing. it will help it from bunching or looking like the shirt is stretched around the applique.
does that make any sense?

I did use Heat n Bond Lite. I put it on a piece of fabric and then cut the applique out from that. I then ironed the applique to the skirt. Then I tried appliqueing. I didn't use a stabilizer, though. Maybe I'll try that, too.

All I could suggest is putting your stitches even closer together. I set my machine at like a .5 stitch length. My stitch width varies. If I'm working on something bigger I make it a bit wider. Narrower if I'm working on something smaller. In the pic I used a .5 length. HTH

This was my 2nd attempt at applique, and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Just practice on some scrap fabric first.

That applique does look good! I'm so jealous.

I did the strawberry. I used normal thread but did use a heavier type of interfacing behind it. I set my machine on about 1 or a little less. I know my machine gets bunched up sometimes too. Make sure you check to see if the bobbin is threaded correctly as well as your top thread. I found the reason mine was bunching is that it wasn't completly threaded through all the loops. Hope this helps and I know you will soon be on your way to some wonderful appliques!!

Search ebay for "small world boutique". I just saw an outfit (t-shirt and jean capris) made with this. They had some really cute faces with it.

I've been looking for the face fabric. I found it at Warm Biscuit Bedding (online) for $15 a yard, minimum 2 yards. Has anyone seen it anywhere else. I want to make that outfit but only need like a quarter of a yard? I was going to bid on the outfit, but logged in too late! Oh, well!

She sells on e-bay too. I almost bid on her snow white dress. Of course now I'm kicking myself that I didn't!!! Snow white is DD's FAVORITE princess (and has been for a few years). Oh well, maybe she'll list it again.
