Is this really happening? It's. Really. Happening. 10/13 First time family trip!

Here it is! Finally... we are only what 5 months after our trip...

This is a trip report for our first family Disney vacation! We went from
October 27-November 2 2013. We stayed at the All-Star Music Resort,
with 5 day park hopper tickets, and ka-ching FREE DINING!

Ohh yeah, you still don't know the we of it all.

Welllll... when we originally started planning this trip the we only
included Aaron (DBF), Keagan (DD 4), and myself (Carrie... HI! :wave2:).

So MIL decided they wanted to go too... Okay, so that adds MIL - Louann,
FIL - Don, and Josh aka Bubba (BIL 18). So 3 went to 6 real quick.
Honestly at first I was a little annoyed, but only because MIL is
the kind of person who is last minute and late for everything.
always.. I mean 100% of the time.

That's okay because I already had most of the trip planned, for us
anyways. Our attitude (DBF and myself) from the beginning is if
they wanted to do their own thing, cool, if not cool. We were there
to have a great time and no one was gonna change that.

Well luckily *spoiler alert* they were all alright with our plans so
it worked great.

Another thing I think that helped to keep the drama to a minimum
was that we didn't travel together.

MIL, FIL, and Bubba flew down Sunday the 27th. Bubba's first time
flying and he was really nervous, but he enjoyed it.

We drove. Yes a long drive, about 13 hours actually. Our original
plan was to drive down two days early to Savannah to see my BFF,
but plans fell through days before the trip. It actually turned out better.

We rented a small car so we wouldn't have to put that kind of
mileage on our car. When I say small.. I mean small.. Chevy Spark
small... but more on that later.

Before we get started, I want to add that I planned Tinkerbell gifts.
Wrote out the notes, had been catching deals and collecting stuff
for months! Well this was the only gift that actually made it... once
we got there I totally forgot and was to exhausted and busy to
even think about it again.

So we left Saturday the 26th at 6:00 am with no exact plans, just
to drive until we wanted to stop. Well our plans were to leave at 5,
but I forgot to make my costume.. and we were already running
late. Good thing we were leaving a day early! And here I was talking
about MIL... :rotfl2:

Before we even made it out of our hometown Keagan was out for the
count.

Know how I said we had a small car? Well obviously a small car means
a small gas tank right? Well we didn't think about that. We were about
2 hours in to our trip and notice that we at close to a half of tank of
gas. I started to freak. Is something wrong with this car?! What's
going on! Nope, silly me. Not used to a 9 gallon tank... but hey, it
literally never took us more than $19 to fill up, and got really good
gas mileage.

Turns out we were so full of adrenaline and excitement we made it
all the way to Ormond Beach! We found us a decent place to
stay. It really was a great way to start our vacation.

We settled in a little bit. It was a decent little place, not a 5 star place,
but a good price and comfortable bed... plus right on the beach so we
took a twilight walk on the beach!

We had pizza for dinner and went to bed.

October 27--- We got up at about 7:30 the next morning so we could
hang on the beach for a little bit since we really weren't that far
from DISNEY!! We got pre-bowled cereal and went and ate on the beach!

We played around on the beach for almost 2 hours. The air
wasn't really that warm but the water was really warm. Keagan
got into the ocean up to her stomach... The kid loves water
but won't go under. We went back to the room and got cleaned
up and checked out about 11.

All was going great! .... until 32 miles from Disney we realized
I left the video camera on the bed... So I called the hotel to make
sure it was there and sure enough... So we had to turn around
and go back and get it. It could have been worse.

So after wanting to punch myself.. we finally arrived!

All of us had never been so happy to be anywhere! After a
couple tears shed we pulled it together and made our way
to All-Star Music!

When I last left you we had just made it through the most beautiful
archway in the world. With huge eyes trying to take in everything we
made it to All Star Music. I was worried that it would take a while to
check in because since we got that at exactly 3 o'clock since we had to double back
and get the video camera....
But It didn't! It was a breeze! Our room was awesome! We got exactly
what we asked for and then some. We requested the Calypso section
and got it, we had the perfect location for MIL sake. It was on the backside
one room from the corner to the parking lot. It was near the pool, but
far enough away to be quiet.

Excited to be there! and Got a balloon at the front desk!

This worked great for keeping waters cool for MIL, and putting all those desserts we were always too full for.

Our plans for the rest of the day was to enjoy the resort because we knew
we wouldn't really have time to do it the rest of the week. Also to enjoy it
being just us three for the little bit of time we had.

First things first, we were starving. We headed to the food court to grab
some later lunch/early dinner. Like the title says, we were newbies. and
we had magic bands, which at that point I still didn't really know how it
worked. I decided on the...

The Hot Italian Sandwich with chips. I thought it was delicious! The chips were fantastic. And of course the cheesecake was good.

Aaron had...

The Philly with fries. He said it was good but could have had more seasoning.
This does not surprise me one bit because he is a very picky Philly eater.
So it was actually probably something most normal people would really like. :rotfl2:

Keagan had...

The spaghetti with carrots and jello. Her review, "it's good but it's not as good
as Pappy's." Don't worry Disney, neither is mine according to her. As for the
meatball on top, I can't give you anything on that because she will not
eat meatballs....

In the middle of lunch Keagan had to go to the potty. It was here that she
found her best discovery. Sinks fit just for her! She was so excited about the
short sinks....

Also on the way out I had to snap this picture for my best friend.

We were going to Columbus the next month to see Selena. Well actually mostly for my boys Emblem3. :goodvibes

After we ate we headed back to the room to rest for a few and get dressed for swimming!
Being from WV, and having our first snow the year before ON Halloween, it was weird to
be thinking of swimming outdoors at the end of October.

After a little bit I had to get out though because I got a little chilly.
Keagan and Aaron stayed in a played for a bit longer, although Keagan could
have stayed all night. We went back to our room and got dressed and stuff,
then went and looked around. We went to the gift shop to see all the
wonderful Disney Merchandise. We then went to the arcade for a short
amount of time. We booked our trip through AAA (Hi Barbara! :wave2:)
so we got 100 free points for it. Otherwise I probably would have stayed
far away from this place. It was really expensive. Keagan enjoyed it, and
she got a few pieces of candy from it so I guess it was worth it.

Then we watched the Little Mermaid Poolside! I think that these nightly
movies are awesome. I knew we probably wouldn't have the chance to catch
another during our trip so I wanted to take the opportunity to do it.

We didn't watch the whole movie cause Keagan go bored and distracted with
all the people around so we headed back to our room to wait.
Finally Nana (MIL), Pappy, (FIL), and Bubba (Josh), had arrived. Nana needed
a scooter for this trip and Aaron had already picked it up for her,
which was really good cause her knees were killing her by this point in the
evening.

We directed them to the food court where they ate dinner and then
we all called it a night.

Stay tuned in for our first park day!!

I'll start this by saying I am usually not a morning person
at all. lol.

October 28, 2013
We all got up and dressed with minimal drama, except a little
ranting from FIL because he didn't realize we had to leave so
early.... Although he did know. I had only told him a million times
the day before, plus I had printed them out an itinerary two
weeks before and MIL had read it over and over.. (stay tuned for
more "communication" or should I say listening issues later on)

Anyways, for whatever reason we totally over looked the fact that
MIL had to ride the bus because that was the only way we could get
her scooter there. We had planned to drive this day because we had a
very important appointment later in the day and didn't want to be late
for because we had no idea how the buses worked. MIL rode it to our first park alone, and LOVED IT.

She doesn't get to go out very often at home, and usually never
alone. So to be mobile, and by herself was a pretty big deal for her.

We made it to our first park EPCOT! at about 7:30. We went through
the gate about 7:50.

We made our way pack to Norway for our breakfast date with some
lovely ladies!

The cranberry bog set up for the Food and Wine Festival, and BUBBA!

We checked in and were called for breakfast in just a few minutes!

We were meeting Belle! She is my all time favorite Princess. I have
always love the Beauty and the Beast. When I was about 5, as
a surprise my dad remodeled my room in Beauty and the beast while
my mom and I were visiting her brothers and sisters in Ohio. I mean
it had everything. It was awesome. So this was a big deal for me. Also
it was my indicator of how Keagan was going to do with characters.

Belle was a doll! She spent so much time with Keagan. She loved Keagan's
dress because it looked like hers. They talked about the tulle under
their dresses and how they both had roses on them, and about
shared love of books. It was really a great moment. This Belle to me was
the real Belle. It was like she wasn't playing a part at all. It was amazing.

Showing Keagan the layers to her dress.

I just love this picture!

The family picture!

And all that before breakfast! We were seated right away. Our server
was good. She kept our drinks and food filled. The food was good!
FIL did HATE the sausage. (this turned out to be a trend.) The potatoes
were good, Keagan loved the eggs and bacon. The salami from the cold
bar was AWESOME!

It was here that I realized quickly that Keagan liked to go to character
meals, and meet the characters, but she did not like to have to stop
eating to meet them. :rotfl2: Up first was Cinderella!

She was pretty and it was all real cute, but it was quick and no
real interactions other than the hug between them. That was
alright because like I said, Keagan didn't really want to stop
eating. lol.

Up next was Ariel. I love Ariel, but to me this was just an okay version
of her. She actually was quicker than Cinderella. I know they have a lot
people to get through and we were still new to this character thing.
Still cute though.

Snow White was our next visitor. She was perfect. Not more perfect
than my Belle, but she was great. Even her voice was good.

Lastly was Princess Aurora. I have never been a huge Aurora fan.
But at least Keagan looked happy to see her, so that's good.

But at that point she was princess-ed out. She wanted to eat. :rotfl:

She was done with princesses she wouldn't even do the Princess
Processional. Luckily we ended up being there for a second processional,
so she participated in it. I didn't get very good pictures of it. :guilty:

We took care of the bill and headed out to enjoy our day. But we
had to stop for silly pictures of course.

Hey, I just wanted to say that I'm here to follow along!

I love your report so far. Don't beat yourself up too much about the camera, we all make mistakes and at least you realized it before you were there! That could have been bad.

We also stayed at the All Star Music in October! But we were way in the Broadway section. I have to have eyed your Calypso building in envy a billion times during our trip lol ;)

Wow, that Belle is so pretty! She was my favorite princess too and your Keagan looks so cute in all the pictures! No wonder the princesses were so happy to see you.

Also, super jealous about you going to see Selena! I love her but I've never gotten to go to a concert *sigh* Maybe someday.

Thanks for following!! About the camera, Yeah, I'm just thankful that I realized it before we
got all the way there, cause once we were there, I wouldn't have wanted to
turn around and go get it. Also I'm lucky that it didn't end up missing or
something.

She really was a great Belle! And thank you!!

If you ever get the chance to see Selena, I recommend jumping on it! Like I
said I really wasn't there to see her, but she really put on a good show, and I had a
great time! Thanks for following!

A fellow WV gal following along!

Awesome!! Thank you!!!

If you are following along don't give up on me yet!
I will post soon, things have just been crazy around here. Mine and Aaron's
Spring break, strep throat, projects, now Keagan is on Spring Break!

I hope to have an update for you tomorrow or Wednesday! Keep an eye
out for a post! :thumbsup2

I'm back! I know I've left you hanging... but I
am now officially done with school... for this semester that
is. Back at the books in a week and a half for summer
classes... On a brighter note, its all online so I will have more
of a chance to finish this trip report....

When I last left off we had just had a great breakfast with some
lovely ladies. We were on our way to future world when we spotted
this...

But where were we headed? To meet more characters of course at
the Character Spot!! It is where we met our good pal....

MICKEY!!!

And of course the fun loving Goofy!

He was playing with our ears. That silly goofy!

And of course the always adorable MINNIE!

As soon as we left there we saw Keagan's favorite characters.
CHIP AND DALE! The line was real short, and I knew we would be
meeting them later, but she wanted to meet now so we got in line.
We only waited maybe 5 minutes.

Of course a hug from each one, what did you expect. They
were great, but there was no photopass photgrapher, so it
was all me. That's okay though, because it made Bubba have
to get in a picture since I couldn't! :rotfl2:

We then made our way over to the Sea with Nemo and friends.
We have been to many aquariums but it was still neat. Keagan is
for some reason scared of Finding Nemo, because of the sharks,
so of course she wouldn't go near the giant climb in Bruce...

But Pappy sure did!

After that we made our way to Living with the Land. It is really neat.
My one complaint is the elevator in that building. We didn't take the
elevator but Nana and Pappy did due to Nana's scooter. For as many
scooters that are at Disney on any given day they should have a larger
or more than one elevator. We waited longer for Nana to be able to come down one floor than we had to wait in line for the ride.

Anyways, it was nice!

After that though, I guess everyone was getting hot, my planning
wasn't that great, or something, but when we got off that ride and
was walking around some people in our party started to get grumpy.
Pappy and Bubba butt heads a lot anyways, but I guess the heat and
getting up early allowed there mean side to come out. But never fear!
Our next ride turned this all around. What ride you ask... Well Journey
into Imagination of course!!!

That's really all the pictures I have of waiting in line or of the ride.
We really enjoyed this ride, Keagan especially loved the lab at the end.

It was also here that Keagan made her first purchase, with her
very own money she had saved. She bought a Dark Wing Duck Pin!
She loves all the older stuff like that. Aaron introduced her to that,
and Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers. She loves that show, that is why
she loves Chip and Dale so much, but more on that later.

We weren't exactly sure of how to get to DTD and we had
an appointment there at 1:30, so we went ahead and made
our way towards the exit. But not before making a pit stop.
We had to get Pappy to try Beverly!

I snapped too soon! But his reaction was exactly as expected,
disgust. He still talks about how gross it was.

I'm gonna leave off here, but I'll give you a sneak peek at my next
installment of the incredibly late and behind first timers trip report.

Well maybe one more picture of "the big golf ball" before we leave..

What great character pictures.

At least you got him to try. I got all the girls in my group to try too but I didn't snag any pictures either. That's okay, their reactions will forever be in my mind.

Awesome pin choice.

Can't wait to read more.

We had a not so much of a surprise, surprise for Keagan.
I say not so much of a surprise because she knew about it, surprise
because she did not grasp what it would really be like.

Here we were Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! We had originally had this scheduled
for the day of our MNSSHP but I thought it would be even more hectic
so we moved it. She was wearing a Belle dress that she wore in a pageant
once but she wanted to wear her Rapunzel wedding dress. The Princess
gets what she wants I guess. :lmao:

Actually I should back track a little. We drove that day because we still
at that point weren't sure how the buses worked, Nana however, had to
ride the bus because of her scooter. She got to Epcot by herself great earlier
in the day. We didn't realize though that you can't go directly to DTD from a
park... Oops. We got there about an hour early because we are the type of
people who are either extremely early, or late, no in between.

Well we waited for Nana, and waited for Nana, then we realized Pappy
had her cell phone and her wallet.... Then the thought sunk in what if she
actually has no idea where she is supposed to go, which is a very likely
scenario even though I had told her a thousand and one times. Then I
also realized that even if she got there in time she really wouldn't be able
to go back because of her EVC and you are only supposed to have 2
people back there per child.

We went a head and checked in while Bubba and Pappy walked around and
looked around and kept an eye out for Nana.

We only had to wait a very short time before we were introduced to our
Fairy Godmother-in-training.

Chandra!!!

She was awesome! She really made Keagan feel special! And she talked to us
a lot too. Her and Keagan talked about how Rapunzel had been there this
morning to get her hair fixed, that's why there was flowers planted out front
to put in her hair. They also talked about Prince Charming and Cinderella
dancing at the boutique last night and she left her shoe.

The only issue I had with the whole experience was we were in
the chair by the employee only door so people were a lot of the time walking
in front of us. Wasn't really that bad though, just an every so often
aggravation.

I forgot to mention in the Nana is lost story that Keagan was already in the
chair and being made up before Nana even got there. She came in and was met with this...

She had no idea what was happening, a crazy lady coming out of no where
with Glitter and plastic face cover. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Then it was Keagan's turn!

And After!

We really had a great time and Chandra really made it special. It won't
be something we have to do every time we are there but it was nice.
I think that next time we will try out the Pirates League!

So what is a princess to do???

Visit the Lego store of course!!

Keagan was really starting to get tired. We decided to head back to the
resort a little earlier than planned so she could rest. We had FP+ tickets
to meet Rapunzel a little later, that's part of why Keagan wanted to wear
the wedding dress. Spoiler alert, we never got so see her... As soon as
we got back in Keagan went in to meltdown mode. It really hardly ever
happens so I knew this kid needed rest. She just started crying for no
reason at all and when we asked her what was wrong she just cried more
and said she didn't know. She even wanted to take off the dress. That was
alright though because we all were actually pretty tired.

We decided to just hang out at the resort and rest till about 5 and then
we headed to...

We were so excited!!!!!!

Walking down Main Street a Photo Pass photographer asked me
if he could take a picture of me. So of course I did! lol.

Then we got to this.....

The most wonderful site of all!!

But where were we going? The Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner!!

This is Keagan and Pappy while we waited.

The wait seemed a little long, maybe because we were
hungry. I can't tell you exactly how long we waited but I
know it was the longest we had to wait the whole trip.

I'm going to go ahead and tell you that this was the BEST
meal we had the entire trip. Don't get me wrong, we liked
almost everywhere we ate, but this was FABULOUS!

Keagan waiting before the food got there.

Me and Aaron

The Food. I am not very good at photographing food... Sorry.

The turkey was great, not dry at all. Mashed potatoes were
good, Bubba stated that they were a little thick, but hes really
particular about his food. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the gravy. Like
beyond loved. The rolls and butter was fabulous. Keagan and Bubba
probably ate a good three - five rolls each. The dressing was good.
The beef was good but we all liked the turkey best. The mac and
cheese was great, even to Bubba who is usually a blue box only
mac and cheese eater. The only thing that was not good at all
was the green beans. None of us liked them.

The dessert was fantastic. Served warm with vanilla ice cream.

It was awesome. Our server kept our drinks and plates
full, and was pleasant. We had a great experience and
will definitely be back. Aaron and I now consider this a must
do!

As soon as we came out we noticed people gathering on the
street... We had come out just in time to get a decent spot
for the Main Street Electrical Parade!! Literally perfect timing.

Don't mind that plant... lol.

I just love this picture. Keagan and Aaron watching the parade.

Then I realized that we had a shot at catching Wishes
so we headed toward the castle.

We got to see it, but the view wasn't that great, it
was still wonderful though. It was so nice to be standing
there as a family.

Keagan watching.

After that our night was not over! We headed to Adventureland!

We all rode the Jungle Cruise. It was good, the jokes of
course corny, but Nana loved them. It's a much different
feel at night though. I some how don't have any picture of
it at all.

Then Aaron, Keagan and I got in line to ride the Magic Carpets!

The camel spit water on me... :lmao:

After that we decided we were all too tired and needing
to get back. We caught the bus and in route to ASM
Keagan crashed.

She didn't even wake up as Aaron carried her to our room.
She didn't even wake as I put her in PJ's... This kid was
tired. But it made for a perfect picture.....

And then Nana crashed beside her... :rotfl2:

We just got everything ready for the next day and went to bed.

Finally finished one day!! lol.
Stay tuned to see where we go tomorrow!

Keagan looks great in her Rapunzel dress. Really, she's so adorable :)

Also, of course a princess wants to go play with legos after getting made over. After all, all that work deserves some play ;)

Dinner looks like it was great. It's on my list of places to try sometime. Nothing like a good family style meal.

And I agree with you, being together as a family is more important than the view so I'm glad you all got to experience it together :)

Tuesday October 29
We woke up at 7am so we could leave by 8:15. Nana, Pappy,
and Bubba decided to sleep and and meet up with us later.
(I know, its only day two people!)

We set out to go to....

We arrived about 15 minutes before opening. Enough for there
to already be a ton of people.

Here's Keagan waiting. It was a little chilly that morning,
but trust me... it changed.

We were finally let in and there
were hordes of people. I really wanted to do Tuskerhouse for
breakfast but we didn't want to use ALL of our sit down meals
for breakfast because we knew that they (Nana, Pappy and Bubba)
wouldn't want to get out of bed, this day proved me right.

I am not complaining though, even though it was nice being
with them, it was also nice to just be the three of us sometimes.

We tried not to, but we walked with the crowd. I was going to
get paper fastpasses for the Safari. Keagan and Aaron played the drums,
I thought I had a picture of it, but I guess not. Then we walked through
Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, to pass some of the time before our
fast passes were good.

Keagan became a Wilderness Explorer. This was one of the highlights
of the trip for her. She LOVES animals. She also loved that booklet
they give you. She still has it and plays with it all the time.

Bad quality picture. Sorry.

Gorilla.

I thought this looked neat, and kinda creepy.

We didn't really eat breakfast so we could get on the bus in time
Keagan decided it was time for a snack. My child is a pretzel lover,
I mean this kid only asks for one thing when we go to the mall, and
that's pretzels. :rotfl2:

So of course she had to have one of these....

So then it was time for our first Safari ride.

Waiting in a short line. (See her Wilderness Badge!)

I am going to go ahead and tell you giraffes are my favorite
all time animal, and they did not disappoint.
Here is the baby just strolling down the road. :)

I know! So many Giraffe pictures.... but I love them!

Elephants!

Lioness!!!!!!

Zebra

I am going to go ahead and tell you a little secret, we rode this
twice so I saved some of the animals pictures for the next ride.

As soon as we got off of our safari ride Keagan had to have a
baby Simba wrapped in a leaf blanket.

Then we went to Rafiki's Planet watch. I am going to go ahead
and say it, and I knew it would be, but it was really a waste of
time. The only real excitement was meeting Rafiki, but once you
see the pictures of Keagan, you'll see she really wasn't in to it
anyways. lol.

When we left for Disney Keagan had a pet hermit crab...
that's why we took this picture... Well... While we were
gone a friend of mine was watching our cats, she called me
actually the same day we were at Animal Kingdom with the
news that our cat had tried to eat the hermit crab...
Uh oh.. bye bye Hercules the hermit crab....

I took this picture because it looks like the spider that
Mad Eye Moody tortures and eventually kills during the
teaching about the unforgivable curses.

Rafiki

There was also a petting zoo that Keagan liked. But at that
point they were already not really into it and too hot already.

I left off my last post at Rafiki's Planet Watch.
I forgot to mention that Keagan really did enjoy
the train ride though. I also forgot to mention that
on the way back they stopped the train completely
because a kid kept standing up.

Next we decided to try out....

It's tough to be a bug! If you can't tell by the look on
her face, she was already not feeling it...
This did not change. In fact, she hated it. Lol. Oops.
We (meaning Aaron and I loved it! Maybe when she is
less scared of the dark she may like it better. Or maybe
I have ruined it for her forever.

After that we walked to try and find Nana, Pappy and Bubba.
We had fastpasses on our magic bands for a safari ride!

I am gonna go ahead and say that this safari ride was even
better than the first. (Thanks Joe from New Jersey, you were
awesome!)

Rhino rolling in the mud!

Well... I guess that I didn't upload all of my animal pictures to
Photobucket, cause that's all that's there... If you like a ton
of animal pictures, I apologize.

As we were walking to our next destination, I snapped this
picture.

We made our way to Asia for our fastpasses for Kali River Rapids!
This is one thrill type ride that Keagan was tall enough for, just
barely.

Awesome theme of course.

We were all going to ride it, then Bubba decided he didn't want
to get wet. Nana made it all the way to the ride and then
couldn't do it because the step down was too much for her knees.

We were on it with a family from England who were just awesome.
I'm not going to tell you how, because I know how people exploit
things like that. But we all got to ride it twice in a row. It was really
a great time.

Keagan was really a trooper on this ride. She liked it a lot,
but I could tell she was a little scared.

After that we went to catch Everest. Again Bubba wussed out,
and so did Pappy. So it was just Aaron and me. I failed to mention
that Aaron doesn't do roller coasters... Aaron doesn't do heights.
At all. After getting to the front of the line quickly with our fastpasses
he tried to chicken out on me! I didn't let him though, I told him I
would hold his hand if he got scared. HAHAHAHAHA. So that meant
from the second we got on and it started moving till we got off....

See! lol.

But guess what! He loved it!! So since the line was really short we
slipped on it again. haha.

After that we were all getting hungry so we made our way
to Dinoland for quick service at Restrantosaurus. It was good.
The place was pretty empty so we got what ever spot we
wanted and was through the line super quick. I had a burger
and it was here that Aaron fell in love with Disney chicken
nuggets. It really was a great spot to rest and cool down for
a few minutes.

After our late lunch we (Aaron, Bubba, Keagan and I) stayed in
Dinoland and ventured around while Nana and Pappy went to find
the Festival of the Lion King. We rode tricatops spin cause that's what
Keagan wanted to do. Then we went to the Boneyard, which wasn't
at all what I had imagined. I did later find out that the part that I
had imagined was closed while we were there because they were working
on it.

After that we meandered our way out to head back to the resort to change,
but we took these.

We had some dinner plans to get ready for later!

Thank you! Yeah it is really hard work to be pampered! :rotfl: Only a princess
could handle that lifestyle!

Dinner was really good! You really have to try it!

Our view wasn't too terrible, and we weren't all that crowded by people so it
wasn't too bad!

Thanks for following along!

When I last left off we were leaving Animal Kingdom to go back to ASMu to change.
We changed and everything and headed back to catch a bus for Epcot.
It was here that we ran into some not very nice people. Some of the only
not very nice people we met the whole trip. I'm not gonna go into full detail.
Long story short, they were running late for some fastpasses because they
left something in their room and had to go back, they said some not very nice
things about MIL in front of our child. The thing is we never said a word to these
not very nice people, they were just irritated because of their own mistake.
They were mad because MIL got to get on the bus first because of her
EVC. The thing is, no matter what order we got on the bus, it didn't matter
because we all had to get on anyways... MIL luckily didn't hear the comments
so that was good, ALTHOUGH they did say them where my 4 year old could
plainly hear.... Aaron did say something to the family once we got to Epcot
out of our ear range.

So enough with all that....

You are probably wondering where we were headed. Let me start off by
saying Keagan LOVES Chip and Dale. Her two requests for the trip is she
wanted to ride Dumbo, and see Chip and Dale. Well what better than meeting
Chip and Dale than eating with them!

We were headed to the Garden Grill. When we got there they were a little
backed up. I also didn't really think this place through, there was really no
where to put Nana's scooter. Our hostess went above and beyond in being
helpful though. She even came back a couple times during our meal to check
on us. I didn't catch her name, but she was wonderful.

We were seated and our food came out quickly. I some how didn't get any
real pictures of the food though... Sorry! There was steak, fish, and chicken..
or pork... can't remember. The rolls and salad were good, everyone ate them
of course, but once the main entrees came that was a different story.
I'm gonna go ahead and tell you that Pappy ate almost nothing. He really didn't
like any of it. Everyone else really loved the steak. Nana and I were the only
ones that tried the fish, but we really didn't care for it. Everything else was
just alright.

Really though we were here for one thing... Well I take that back, two things.
Chip and Dale.

First up was CHIP!

As you can see Keagan was still a little iffy on meeting characters, which I
knew would be the case. I had told her before he got there to talk to him about
being a rescue ranger, but she wouldn't.

Next up was Dale!

So while she was getting ready to hug him, her daddy told Dale how much she
LOVES the rescue rangers. Dale flipped!

See the hug get tighter!

And he wrote a special message to her in her autograph book!

It was really great!

Next around to see us was Pluto!

I guess Dale went and told Chip about her love for the rescue rangers because
he made his way back to us really quickly.

Finally Mickey showed up! He looks so cute in his overalls!

Keagan looks crazy in this picture, but believe it or not it was the best one that
I got of them somehow. Oh well. I guess at this point she was getting tired.

Also I lied about not having pictures of food, cause I just found a picture of the
dessert.

It was really good.

And here is Keagan eating her vanilla with chocolate icing cupcake our server
brought her.

Would we do the Garden Grill again? Probably not, most of the people in our
party really didn't care for the food. The steak was really good, but that was
about it. Dale was awesome! but we could really see him somewhere else.

After dinner we wondered around a little and headed back to ASM.

Keagan really liked those lights in the concrete.

We really did have a nice day at Animal Kingdom! What would we do tomorrow?!

Also, as I have read more TR's I have noticed how hard mine may be to read.

Next TR I will definitely learn how to make a table of contents. Oops. Sorry.
(Hopefully there will soon be a PTR in my near future!!!)

On Wednesday October 30, we got up early because we had a breakfast date
with everyone's favorite Disney Jr. clan! We were going to Hollywood Studios
for the day. We had 8 am reservations at Hollywood and Vine. I thought we were
going to be late, but we got there right on time. By time we sat down to wait
we were being buzzed to come in.

Once we sat down, we got some food. Keagan had Mickey Waffles, eggs,
and some other stuff. I didn't take very good notes on this breakfast. I think
It might be because we didn't really care for it too much. The characters
weren't that great, they literally signed Keagan's book and left, no real interactions.
The food wasn't bad, but next time we won't try and wasted time here.

Keagan and June

I will say she really did like meeting Jake.

And by the look at this picture, she really enjoyed Hanny Manny too.

Okay, so maybe it wasn't as non-remember-able as I thought. I guess it was
alright. If they changed some of the characters I guess we would be back.
I think some of my memories of this breakfast came from the fact that we were
all a little grumpy that morning. Partly because Bubba didn't want to get up and
come to breakfast, and also because some how I forgot to pack my better camera
in the park bag that morning. Guess it may have just been me then. Like I said
the food was pretty good though.

After we got out of breakfast I headed straight to the FP machine for Toy Story
Mania. Right at opening, the FP were already at 5:55-6:55 and HS closed at
7:30 that night.

After that we made our way for Disney Jr Live! Since we were sort of near the
beginning of the line we got a decent spot to watch the show. We were sort
of near the middle so we saw everything.

Que Selfie Session of Keagan and her Daddy!

It was really a cute show. My camera took decent pictures of some of it with
the flash off.

Keagan especially loved the "gold doubloons" falling down. She actually kept
a couple for most of the day even though they were only gold and yellow
tissue paper.

Next we made our way to the great movie ride! We all really liked it! Nana didn't even have to get off of her scooter to ride, which was good cause her
legs weren't that great this day.

This was one of my favorite picture that we took together. We are goofy!

We then went to Indiana Jones. It was neat, but definitely not something I
would do every time. It was here that Keagan fell asleep before the show
even started and slept through the entire show.

When it was over Nana and Pappy decided that they were going to head back
to the resort and rest because Nana's legs were hurting and they wanted to
take a nap because of the early morning. Since Keagan was still asleep they
took her with them. She ended up sleeping through the bus ride, and even
still slept once they got back to the resort. She must have been really tired. lol

This was the first, and only time Aaron and I had just to ourselves. We decided
to conquer the Tower of Terror!!! But not before stopping and taking a few
Photopass pictures!

Scared faces! HAHAHA

I love CHIP! Actually Beauty and the Beast has been my favorite since I was
a very little girl. My dad was a carpenter and one time he redid my whole entire
room in Beauty and the Beast when My mother and I were in Ohio visiting her
family. I mean I had everything, the bedding, the light switch, curtains, wallpaper.
It was awesome. I even had pink carpet! (my favorite color at the time.)
Needless to say I was extremely excited when I got home!

Then we got in line for TOT. Being in line is really nerve wracking for this ride.
No other ride makes me as nervous as this one. Of course, the themeing
through out is awesome!

We had a little bit of extra time to kill before we had to get back to the resort
before the big reveal. We just looked around the shops a little bit.

and I bought this cute ornament for a friend of mine that had a healthy baby
girl the day we left for Florida.

After we got back, we got Keagan up to eat some late lunch in the cafeteria.
It was here that the surprise was going to arrive. It was also here that I had
my first Disney chicken nugget... DELICIOUS! As soon as I got through the
line for food I got a test saying the surprise was checking in.

Keagan's best friend was going to be there, at the same resort as us. Neither one of them knew that it was happening. It was really cute, but I don't think
they quite understood what a coincidence it was that they were there together. HAHA

Sorry, I some how didn't get any pictures of the surprise, I tried to video it,
but it didn't turn out well.

Hey! I am just finding your tr and got all caught up. Sounds like a fun first few days! Your daughter is adorable! I can't wait to hear more!

When I last left off we were at the surprise where two kids didn't really get the concept.
Bahahaha Oh well!

After we finished our lunch and visited with Keagan's buddy for a bit we headed
back to Hollywood Studios!

And would you looky there Bubba even came along, AND he got in a picture!

It was here we parted ways Keagan went with Nana and Pappy, while Bubba came
with us for a couple thrill rides.

First up Rock N Roller Coaster! It was awesome! Behind Everest I think this is
my favorite ride! Aaron tried to chicken out, but we coaxed him into it, and
afterward he was glad he did! This was Bubba's favorite ride, he had an absolute
blast...

Even though it looks like he had his eyes closed the entire time! hahaha

Then we tackled Tower of Terror for the second time that day, (Bubba's first
and I suspect the last time ever.) I was even more anxious this time around,
probably because I knew what was going to happen and I didn't know how
Bubba would respond. Josh HATED IT! He said that it made his head hurt. Oops.

It was then time to meet up with Nana, Pappy and Keagan for our turn on TSM!

Nana (rocking her glasses upside down) and I waiting to get on.

It went like this,
Bubba VS Nana - winner Bubba
Keagan VS Pappy - winner Pappy
Me VS Aaron - winner Aaron
Guess the guys have had a lot of practice since they play so many video games! lol

My score vs Aarons....

Bubba beat us all.

We liked this ride well enough, would I stand in the 2-3 hour lines just to ride it?
NO! If I can get a FP for it then yeah I could do that. Or I could just go ride
Buzz in Magic Kingdom and be just fine with that.

Outside we ran into Caiden and his mom and grandma, who were going to try
and get in line for TSM but the wait time was 75 minutes. We had a set of 4
paper FP's that we gave them instead because we really didn't want to go
again and that was the ride Caiden was most excited for at HS. His grandma decided
she didn't really want to go, So Aaron and Keagan went with Cari and Caiden.

While we waited for the FP time we stopped in at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

Keagan and Caiden waiting in line.

I love every production at Disney! I really didn't get the chance to see the ones
I really wanted to but hey, all the more reason to go back!

Everyone but Keagan enjoyed the show. See she really doesn't like Ursula, like
at all. Caiden loves Ursula, he actually wanted to be Ursula for Halloween but
there were other plans that he didn't know about yet. lol

Nana and Pappy went to explore a little and Josh and I went to shop a little.
He found a really cool Alice in Wonderland teapot that he really liked, that came with a all different flavors of tea. (Which began his obsession with teas
soon after.)

I bought a villians frame that I am OBSESSED with!

Once I got it home and printed some pictures!

Then we slowly made our way to 50's primetime where we were going to meet
everyone for dinner. Caiden and his family was even had reservations here too.

One spoiler, this was Josh's favorite meal. I was really worried about it because
he is a little touchy with people pestering him, but he loved it!

This is Mom, she was great. She messed with Bubba a lot which he surprisingly
liked. Every time he had his phone out (hes 18, so thats all the time.) she said something.
Our homework from mom while we waited was to write down a
Disney movie for each letter of the alphabet. We had a great time working together.

Aaron ordered Dad's Electric Lemonade, but only drank a little bit of it because
it was too strong. He's a light weight. ;P

Nana, Pappy and I each ordered the sampler. Aaron had the pot roast.
Bubba had the chicken. I can't remember what Keagan had... Nana had a
milkshake with her meal. By this picture though it looks like Pappy is double fisting drinks. lol

We all really liked the food, it was just a little heavy after the hot day we had.
Actually at the end of the meal Nana got really sick and we had to leave quickly.
Nana got out of the restaurant, and then really really got sick. While Nana was
trying to recover enough to even get to a bus, we took a few pictures.

When we made it back to the resort we got in our bathing suits and went
swimming, even Bubba went! But then it got cold and we were really tired.

Here is Keagan in her ears that she got!

The Dale side!

and Chip
