Incentives and new pricing winter/spring 2025

Since the other thread on this got shut down for veering off course and incentives and pricing change tomorrow, any ideas what will happen tomorrow with pricing overall?

Don’t make any remotely political commentary about the state of the economy, trade issues, international relations, etc, no matter what please because we know it’ll get the thread shut down. So…guesses only! And commentary on incentives once available.

Higher pricing as promised, with higher incentives offsetting most (70%-80%) of the price increases at certain point purchase levels, but overall slightly higher prices than today for the new resorts. MB for PIT still a no go.

I think it will be quite boring. Price increase offset by slightly better incentives, but net overall prices still higher than current round.

No flash sales on sold out resorts. They will want to push PIT another round.

I think with something like RIV, where there is currently an incentive of $29pp at the 200 point level, we will see an increased incentive of $33-$35pp, but overall will be a few dollars more.

PIT will just go up to $235 and we won’t see any better incentives.

CFW will have $60pp incentives and still won’t sell.

Even a few dollars more per point really can add up over 150 points, so I suspect incentives will have to increase quite a bit to balance out the price increases. I wonder if PIT incentives will become more tiered? They seem pretty flat no matter how much you buy.

That is I said that I think the net result will be pretty much the same and that overall, people will not be getting a much better...if any better....deal than right now.

So, they very well might offset the price increase with more incentives, but ultimately, I don't see, even at the higher levels, PVB tower being a great deal.....I guess we will see.

Sooooooo wanted to buy some PIT points today yet before the change tomorrow, but just couldn’t bring myself to pay what they are asking for as many points as needed to stay there. Looked at the rooms last week along with the cabins. Wanted to console myself with possible cabin points that could be resort only stays with dogs. I struggled with the darn sink outside the bathroom where the washer/dryer should be, but hubby made it a no go since no workout facility, and then I remembered it’s restricted like Riviera, so that one is dead.

I’m hoping for better PIT incentives, but if not I’ll just keep watching DVC for less.

Aulani has better incentives at lower points that get it a few dollars less then before, at 200 or above the old ones were better.

VDH is basically worse all around.

Also, we should have a list of the URLs somewhere. Since for the general things, they don't change per cycle usually.

From my previously saved links, looks like the biggest change I see is that Fort Wilderness is no longer on clearance. Also appears that Saratoga has an incentive now.

$20 incentive at 100points at VDH…. that’s still pretty darn good

I'm so happy I bought last summer. Not as good as VGF in the summer of 2023, but these last rounds of incentives have just been meh.

If I was shopping today, I'd likely go resale first and hope to add on direct down the road if I felt like I needed direct points. VDH might be the only exception.

Pretty much what I'm doing, I refuse to buy at these prices
