I don’t like to drive overseas, esp when I’m solo. Stavanger and Bergen are both very walkable, but if you want to venture further afield I can see how a car would be beneficial. I did take a tram, then walked a distance to see an original stave church in Bergen. I also able to take a tram to the airport.Thank you! so you didn't have a car?
I looked on the Freedom page to activate and insurance/tax prep is listed along with the other categories but specifically says March only.Has anyone heard any further update on Chase bonus5x in March. ( Rumored to be Insurance)
I called CS and they acted like never heard of this. lol
Whatever it was I remember this also. And it was insurance because I made a note on my insurance file to follow up on it as I have an almost 1K bill to pay. Something tells me it was my Freedom card, but not sure. I believe I heard of it through an email, and I'll (later) try to muddle through all the old email.Has anyone heard any further update on Chase bonus5x in March. ( Rumored to be Insurance)

Yes I saw it in a Jan email.....but at suggestion of another poster it is now on the chase page. I just lookedWhatever it was I remember this also. Eurostar from London --> Paris is very easy. Pricing is dynamic, so book tickets as soon as you are sure of your dates. The Eurostar arrives at Gare du Nord and to get to Disney Paris (I'm not sure where the Marriott that you reference is located), you will need to take the RERA from one of the stations that it stops at. With kids and luggage I'd recommend taking a taxi to the nearest RERA station. I've taken the RERA many times -- it is super fast. We're looking at tacking on a quick visit to Disneyland Paris at the back end of our London trip. Has anyone stayed at Marriott's Village d'ile-de-France? Thoughts? Is it pretty straightforward taking the train from London to Paris, and then getting from the Paris train station to Marriott? We'll have luggage and kids with us, so trying to figure out logistics.
Agreed on the Eurostar from London to Paris...St. Pancras to Gare du Nord (or sometimes called Paris Nord). According to Google Maps, it looks like you can take a train from Paris Nord to Chatelet - Les Halles and then the RER A to Disneyland Paris.Eurostar from London --> Paris is very easy. I also found a 10% off up to $20 on my Amex Marriott and Hilton cards. So if I pay 200$ with Amex and the balance on my Freedom I can push the value up maybe $10.Yes I saw it in a Jan email.....but at suggestion of another poster it is now on the chase page. I just looked
on details on 5x category. Listed starting March 1st only. I have the same 1k insurance bill to pay lol.
Any opinions of car rental insurance? I rarely rent. I have a VenX that covers collision. But AMEX offers
has 75 off Avis rental ( but I have to pay with reg Amex card). Does anyone buy any extra insurance or
your private insurance is fine?
Really down to Hertz president Circle paying with VenX 300
or Avis paying with Amex blue and getting 75 off. (but no extra insurance). 250 (with 75 off)
Thanks!
