Hi.

I decided to head to my Dad's in PEI on Saturday for a few days. Was nice and relaxing. I just needed some time away... We flew out (dd and I), and drove home 13 hours today. I am a zombie, but will get some rest tonight.

How did you fair ?

We got hit, not as bad as your area. HIGH winds, TONS of rain, some flooding, one man missing as the road crumbled . 8 hours plus of no electricity, but we are luckier than some.

Today was the clean up of the front yard. We have 2 giant old trees, which are now have A LOT less branches.

DD12 started private high school today. Was a little misty eyed, but then did the happy dance. No, wait that will be Wednesday when they are both in school, and DH at work

We did OK as far as I know. My neighbor said the outside of my house looks ok, I'll find out how much water is in the basement Wednesday night.

My nephew lives right along the Wallkill river and his entire property is under water - they have not been able to get to the house yet to assess the damage He and his wife along with their 4 kids are living with my sister right now - in her 2 bedroom condo At least they had somewhere to go.

Hi everyone...

A full week of school for one child, and a 1/2 done for the other. Tuesday is BACK TO NORMAL

DD12 loves her new school. It is private, and she needs the push. I was a little worried, but told her she has to do the one year at least, and I'll never be a Mother who says NO you can't go to public. So far, so good.

I, however have kidney stones .. I was feeling off with pain and went out dancing Friday night. Saturday (obviously) it was much worse. Off to the ER, and a few hours later I was told "HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW".. I had said the pain was about a 6, but what do I know .LOL.

By tuesday if nothing passes, I'm in for some sonic breakdown. I do have some good painkillers, and they help. I'm praying they pass on their own. ALL i need is more surgery, NOT.

We had minimal water in the basement and no damage

Went to a Toby Keith concert Friday night and had a blast; going to see him again this Friday

I've been on very rare lately. Seems I'm having some issues. I had a little double vision a week ago, and fell down the stairs. Nothing major, sprained ankle, hip, and a concussion. That was why I went to ER.

Seeing Dr tomorrow to discuss why..I'm ok, just my hip is ugly, kwim.. Swollen black, blue, yellow. THankfully nothing is broken.
