How much does it cost to replace a Whirlpool Duet water pump??

Trying to find a general price for the replacement of it, and did you do it yourself??

Our drain pump just went bad and it cost about $150 to fix. We had a plumber/washer repair man do it.

I am not sure if this is the same as a "water pump" or not. In our case the water wasn't draining out properly.

Same here, it gets to the spin cycle and freezes, often times there's way too much soap in the clothes. It shows the F02 error or suds, which means it's not draining properly, and a problem with the water pump.

I've been reading mixed reviews about DIY, and the price for a pump are all over the place. I don't know if it's just pieces of a pump and not the whole thing or what. So if an average price is $100 for a pump, I'm going to assume the ones for $30-40 are not the complete thing.

Who knew that $10 worth of change could fit in the water pump filter... among a bunch of other junk.
