This time we are staying at villas that were booked through Disney for cash reservations. Do we have to notify them so that we have housekeeping with whatever schedule they provide for regular rooms? What are the regular housekeeping services.

As a cash guest, you should get daily housekeeping, or maybe it’s every other day, in any case it’s more often than points stays get. I have no idea how Housekeeping keeps things straight, though, and I wouldn’t count on consistency.

Cash guests at deluxe resorts, including deluxe villa resorts, get daily housekeeping. If you don't, call the front desk. That's a big part of what you're paying for as a cash guest.

If cash reservation at WDW through Disney, you get daily cleaning for the "Deluxe" resorts which includes all DVC resorts at WDW. If staying in a value or moderate resort, cleaning is every other day.

Has anyone been able to recently confirm that you can pay for housekeeping staying on DVC points? I asked this awhile back and no one ever responded. I’m doing my first DVC stay in January as an owner, but I hate cleaning up, reusing towels, making the bed etc when I’m vacation. That’s the luxury of vacation, not needing to use dirty towels!! I’m thinking I could pay for every other day of our 8 night stay and we get the full clean on the 4th night, so we’d have fresh things 3x. Anyone know if this is still available? For reference we’re going to be at BLT.

I love that question as we are going again in June, this time with DVC points and a bigger group in the 2-bedroom, so we wondering the same. Otherwise, I guess we will be doing daily washes, not the end of the world, but would like to have services other than on the fourth day.

If you don't want to wash towels every day, you can call Housekeeping and ask for more. They used to charge for them but discontinued that practice a few years ago (probably so they didn't have to keep track of which guests were DVC and should be charged for them vs. guests who were cash and were supposed to get them daily as well as to keep people from bringing pool towels up to use as bath towels).
