Please try them on and compare them against other premium high cushion options before buying. A true running shop should be able to fit you…even if it’s not for running.
I had a pair of Bondi’s but I really didn’t like them. They ran a bit wide (I am NOT a narrow foot) and the rocker design takes a lot of getting used to if you wear them on stairs. I also didn’t find the cushioning to be any better than my normal high cushioning jogger (Brooks Glycerin). In fact, I think my Glycerins are better. I haven’t tried the Glycerin Max or Ghost Max from Brooks, but I know several people that ditched Hoka for them.
I also tried Hoka Cliftons. I liked them a lot better than the Bondi, but they still were wider than I’d like in the toe box and the cushioning still didn’t meet expectations.
