I'm watching the CIF (California) high school basketball championships on TV right now. I've actually been to several of these game before when they were in Sacramento over the years, including my own high school's game.
However, during the broadcast they were mentioning that the rules allow a basketball court to be under the maximum 94 feet length. Apparently under state high school rules it's a minimum 74 feet and one of these teams had a shorter court. I'd only seen a court like that once at a small private high school when I was at an academic competition. It seemed really odd because the roof was really low and the 3 point line seemed really close to the mid-court line.
Anyone have a gym like that in high school?
