Interesting, I just read a small article in Glamour magazine about how to approach a (great) hairdresser about the fact they talk too much. I just found out today that the hairdresser whom I used to see left the salon I go to. She talked so much and because of her talking ran 20-25 minutes late each appointment that I started using someone else in the salon and never went back to her. She was aware she ran late, knew she talked too much, but it didn't stop her from doing it and she lost quite a few clients because of it.
Has anyone ever flat out told their hairdresser to stop talking or put in their ipod earphones? (as suggested by the article in Glamour)???? I can't really imagine that conversation going very well, but i'm curious if anyone has ever told their hairdresser they just want an hour of quiet? That just seems rude to the other extreme....
