Has anyone ever ordered AND returned items from Bloom Chic?

I placed my first order from Bloom Chic and just recieved it earlier this week. It was a bathing suit. While I love the bathing suit, it didn't quite fit right. The band around the bra area was too big, which did not support what it needed to. Plus the "skirt" on the bathing suit was too long (I'm short 5'2-ish)

Anyhow, I started a return and then received an email stating if I took a small survey (which included measurements of my shoulers, bust, waist & hips PLUS a photo of me in the bathing suit *you could cover your face or just take the photo from neck down*) and I would then be able to keep the bathing suit, they would refund me the entire price of the bathing suit PLUS they would send me $20 gift card.

Now, I've never heard of such a return policy. I really don't mind sending measurements, but I certainly don't want to send a photo of me in it. And there's no option to send this survery without the photo.

Has anyone else had the same situation? Thanks

Never used that site but seems like an odd return policy. What does taking a picture of yourself in the item have to do with returning something? It isn't like you have to 'prove' it doesn't fit since there could be other reasons for the return such as you don't like the color or pattern. I seem to recall that many stores in general won't let you return bathing suits.

No other online clothing store I have ever used has any such return policy. I wouldn't fill out such a survey and would never purchase from them again.

No but that doesn't sound like a return policy. It sounds like something extra. Just tell them you don't want to do it and initiate the return.

I can think of a lot of reasons you might choose to return something that has nothing to do with size/fit. Color wasn't the same as you saw online or don't care for the pattern are some examples. Perhaps email was sent to you randomly but the wording about being able to keep the product makes it sounds like they are related. Still seems like an odd request for whatever purpose.
