Question on painting the bands. Do you straighten it out and then paint with polish? Or do you keep it closed and paint while it's curved? Or does it even make a difference? I hope this makes sense. I noticed with stickers and duct tape that there are creases. I wanted to make sure I didn't have any cracking while painting. This might have been asked already, but by page 52 I stopped reading every post! ha

I kept mine closed and wrapped around a bracelet stand when painting.

I was also wondering if anyone had any experience of using Washi Tape on their MBs? I know I've seen some with Duck Tape, but I would think this tape would be a little easier to work with.

Where is the best place to buy Disney temporary tattoos? I found some at Target, but they were larger in size and in a package of 50. I really don't want that many. I also checked Michael's, but they didn't have any. Thinking about checking Party City next.

I just bought the TARGET ones and we plan to cut some down but there are also plenty of smaller designs. We bought the FROZEN and CARS ones.

Starting to plan our bands for Jan. Since we live outside of the US I have to pre plan everything. Supplies seem to be my issue.

I am hoping to great one Tiger band and one giraffe band but I can't find the oil based sharpie. Any other suggestion or where I can order one online?

DH, DS1, DS 2 will just get temp tattoos on their bands. Can you dry the base coat nail polish with a blow dryer? I will need to get 5 bands ready in a short amount of time.

Anyone wear a fabric cover part-time? I'd like to glue gems on mine but also wear a coverband some days.
Think there will be any issue getting the cover on? I planned to use e6000 for the gems, so it's pretty sturdy.

Lol any chance I can get two bands?

We are finishing our 8 Magicbands slowly. We did the first three quick. The next one is my son's - Simba.



and our youngest DDs - Dumbo - our youngest DD is the talented one. We all worked on our own Magicband but she did some of the work on each of them. We couldn't have done it without her.

Thank you!! I used acrylic paint and nail polish for the sparkles on her dress. I also use an extra fine sharpie to outline her eyes. To seal it I first sprayed it with an acrylic sealer and then painted over that with clear nail polish (base coat polish). I used the acrylic sealer spray on this one because I found that the clear polish made the black sharpie parts run and I wanted to avoid that since the eyes were the hardest part of the Elsa design.
