We are going to do a grocery delivery (Magical Vacations) to have a few things in our room. We used to take a coffee maker, paper lidded cups, etc, but now that is too cumbersome to try to take in a carry-on, so my coffee snob self will just drink what they have on property. Maybe I could still get creamer (cold), but even still, I make my own at home. :P

We get sodas as my husband is a fan of Dr Pepper and not coke products. I order juice....still sugary, but no caffeine. Sometimes we just want snacks in our room after we have settled in for the evening. In the past, we ate more junk. We have cleaned up our diets a bit, but we really don't care about that as much when on vacation. Groceries stores across the country carry different products. There are items we cannot get in FL that we can get at home.

So...

I am curious, what kind of food items do you like to have delivered that you know you can get in Florida?

I use www.dizzydolphindelivery.com for delivery and usually get the following for the studios (as it will fit in the smaller fridge and kitchenette. Bagels/cream cheese,
Mixers and garnish for cocktails (lemon, lime etc.)
"Nibbler platter" which is a small tray of assorted fruit, meat and cheese that fits in the smaller fridge.
Coffee and creamer
Bottled water
Chip & Dip
Snack Mix (like chex mix etc.)

Have fun!

A fresh fruit bowl or platter
A bag of clementines or mandarins
Whatever berries look (and taste) good

Makings for a charcuterie platter:
A jar of marinated artichokes and mushrooms
Pee paws at the olive bar
A variety of olives
maybe some whole caper berries if they have them
A small salami, un cut
pancetta
Whatever cheese looks good
Fig or cherry preserves

For the coffee drinkers I bring a can of Starbucks instant coffee. Tastes surprisingly good and available at Amazon.

Still maintaining a low carb life so I buy a bag (or three) of pork cracklings

To drink I buy some guava, passion fruit and orange juice. Mix them together in thirds and serve with a topping of lemon or lime seltzer. That’s my version of POG juice.

Are you staying in a studio? if so they have paper cups with lids and most of them have the keurig duo now so you can use your own coffee or drink Disney's Joffrey's. I've learned that the Joffrey's is good enough for me if I make it stronger by making a packet in the pot with about the 6 cup line as my marker for adding water.

Florida has a few things that are harder to get here in February which is my next visit. That is good oranges and strawberries. I won't have them delivered, I'll head out and get them myself.

As far as snack food I can't think of anything they have that we don't have. This time we will be in a two bedroom for our week so we will do some meals in our kitchen. Love being DVC!

I would never ever use the coffee machine in the rooms. I have seen too many videos are heard too many first-hand accounts about how those are cleaned and what people do to them. Swamp water would be safer.

We have asked several of the grocery delivery places and there are creamer flavors they cannot get. No Miss Vicky's jalapeno chips. No Mrs Baird's donuts. No Otis Spunkmeyer muffins. No grape Fanta. No strawberry Fanta. There were some others.
