How exciting to have Danielle home! Since 2020?!!

She has been home to visit but never for a holiday. When you work for the mouse getting vacation during he busiest time is very hard.

Oh, my gosh, that must be so hard!! I hope you're able to squeeze in as much holiday fun as possible while she's there.

We are going to try and do as much as we can.

Have more adults than kids at the end of the trip really helped.

We're really looking forward to Thanksgiving this year. I'll actually being seeing her a good bit in the next 3 months. She'll be home for Thanksgiving, I'm going down there for Jollywood on the 18th and Dennis and I are going for a visit in January. It's either feast or famine lately.

Time was running short and it was past time to head to Fantasmic. We rushed to get into the theater. Danielle and I got separated from the others while we parked the strollers. They were directing everyone to the far left but Danielle knows the trick to getting into the far right area. It looks like you can't go that way because of the block off for the dinner packages but if you look at just the right space you can. We ended up in the Witch section.

Great tip!

The littles were tired but did so good during the show. This was JP's second time seeing Fantasmic so he paid more attention and asked questions non stop. Gabriel was glued to the show and didn't want to miss anything. When it got too scary he would turn into me but then turn right back around, so he could see more. Dominic was totally enthralled too. He would hide his eyes at some of the scary parts but would also go right back to watching.

That is adorable!

Danielle's Thanksgiving Vacation has been approved!!! She hasn't booked flights yet so we don't know her actual days here yet. This is the first Holiday she will be here since 2020. So Excited!!!

Yay!!!!!!!

Don't know how much we can do while she's here but we'll just be happy to have her with us.

And I finally got those Boards passed yesterday!! It feels soooo good to have all of that intense pressure behind me now.

I do!! And you're still welcome to join us if you want! I'll be hanging out with Caroline and Susan and rooming with Kari starting Dec. 3rd in a few phases. I've started a PTR for that that I'll do a TR on when I get back.

Yes, my heart will be. We are all very excited. She may also still get the weekend of December 14th to come home for an extended family get together in Texas. I will be getting to spend lots of time with her in the next 3 months.

I've been really temped to come but Danielle with be home with us until the 4th and I'll be heading down there on the 17th just to attend Jollywood on the 18th and flying back on the 19th. Dennis and I also have a weeklong trip booked in January.

Just to close up our July trip I wanted to share a few more photos. When I first started recapping I was trying to be brief and didn't share many.
First up is from our visit with Buc-ee. We were trying to get the littles prepared for meeting characters.

Mickey was a big hit with John Paul and Dominic at Tusker House.

I think I shared the story of our meal at Via Napoli but I might not have. When the waitress was giving us our water glasses, one exploded and the bottom of the glass fell out. No one was hurt by glass but Danielle was drenched.


We all took it very well and laughed at it. They did bring her lots of towels to help dry her out. They wanted to give her a card to get a shirt but she was wearing a dress. We were visited by the floor manager and the head manager. Her meal was free and they gave us all free cannelloni's. They were all really great and now we will always have a story for Via Napoli's.

Michelle was brave and took the boys to roast marshmallows all by herself. JP did this when we stayed at Wilderness Lodge but it was a first for Dominic.

The boys really enjoyed staying in the Cars area and playing in the water.

It really is. We don't have one in Louisiana yet. They are building one right inside Mississippi on 1-10 right not. We'll soon have to pick which one to go to when we drive to Disney.

We thought so. We ended up getting the opposite reactions. Gabriel loved Buc-ee but kept his distance from the Disney characters at first. Dominic did not want to get near Buc-ee but really well with the Disney characters.
