I've been saying that for years. Not a single restaurant has mayo on their burgers anymore. They all only have aioli.
Mayonnaise is an ingredient n aioli, along with garlic. The two are not the same.
They can call it what they want, but aioli is garlic mayo. If it doesn't have garlic, it's not aioli. "Ai" MEANS garlic!But it kinda is the same thing. Just like the Round Table Pizza putting ranch on pizza but calling it creamy garlic sauce.
