What is the Dry Wipe Club?

We have gotten several people/couples together and we are giving Dry Wipe Boards as our FE gift. We have reached the 20 that we decided to be the cut off point for our group but are taking names for a stand by list. Since it is still a ways from final payoff we may lose some of our group and would like back ups to take their place and keep the cost manageable. :)

Hey :)

I made myself a new signature and thought I would post to up our numbers and check it out ;) I do have a real reason to post too though

So, for all you PPCC'S (that's Past Panama Canal Cruisers by the way ;) lol) I have many, many, many questions, you will probably hate me lol. So here are a few to whet your palet!

1. Is there a different show in the theatre lots of nights or just a few? I think on our 7 day we had 3 or 4 theatre type shows and then comedians etc. how many theatre type shows will be on this one?

2. Out of the ports that are the same, which was your favorite and why? Also, did you do an excursion that you would recommend?

3. How many hours does it take to actually get through the locks once the process is started?

4. How much luggage did you bring with you? I am honestly nervous about having to pack for that long...also, how many formal outfits did you bring...can I "reuse" a dress or do I need different ones for each event?

Ok, that's it for now :) Thanks in advance!

Also, on another topic, for my other Disney cruise I purchased the lance armstrong type bracelets for everyone in our group and then they each paid me when they were delivered. They were glow in the dark dis green and had the dates and cruise name on it. it was nice to be able to identify other fellow Disers so easily...I would be willing to take on this task again. the bracelets came out to about $1.50 each and I think they were well worth the cost :) Here is a pic to help you decide:

As you can see it is written in Disney font (embedded in the bracelet). Let me know folks! I obviously won't order until like November, lol but it would be nice to get an idea!

Cheerio :)

Holly

Someone had bracelets made for the 2008 WB PC and we loved them. My DH and I would definitely be interested in these as well as lanyards.

Well, DD and I are going to get ready for bed and watch the Lion King. DH is working tonight and both the kids like to crawl in bed with me when Daddy is working all night. DS is already asleep and I'm sure I'm not far behind him.
GOODNIGHT ALL!!!!

Hi Holly -- Put me down for 5 adult sized bands! We've got a whole collection & it's a great way to 'spot' a fellow DIS fan:dance3::grouphug:

Goodnight, sweet dreams...at this rate, you may wake up to a closed thread. :cheer2: Enjoy your weekend and those 'snuggle moments', they pass way too fast:grouphug:

Woohoo 248....getting closer!!!!

I would be interested in those bracelettes and we would also be interested in lanyards.

Speeking of birthdays I will be celebrating mine at WDW. I leave now in one week and 6 days. Can't wait. My birthday is March 1 and we are having dinner at Yahtsmans steakhouse.

Happy Birthday - even if it is just over 2 weeks from now! Enjoy your dinner at Yachtsman's Steakhouse! Haven't been there yet - just checked out the menu from last year and have made a note to go there for dinner in September. What else do you recommend besides the creamed spinach? I am drooling already!

Has anyone else participated in this year's promotion "give a day. get a disney day"??

Sandy (goofprincess) and I cut fabric for 40 bags which will go to "My New Red Shoes" in Burlingame, CA. Next week, we'll sew them into 16" x 21" pillowcase-style bags - and get our certificates. 20 bags earns you a certificate. I was lucky enough to get some really nice poly/cotton fabric on sale at JoAnn's for $2/yard because you also donate the fabric as well as your time. It took 20 yards for our project.

We still need to find projects for our DHs to do.

No, we haven't signed up for the promotion. We aren't going to be able to make it to FL or CA this year. If we could use the tickets in Jan, I would sign us up. Best of luck for good weather for y'all tomorrow.

Don't forget that you can still do the promotion and donate your free ticket to one of the select non-profit organizations designated by Disney Parks: :
* Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern California
* Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida
* Dreams Take Flight Canada

Here's the website for anyone who is interested:

http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/di...ebrate/index?name=Give-A-Day-Get-A-Disney-Day

Just enter your zip code and find out what's available to do. Go back often, because activities come and go. The listings are 60 days out.

PS: I'm trying to help get to page 250 before we leave for Disneyland in the morning. Valentine's Day dinner at Napa Rose. Back Monday evening.

Wow...great project! we are giving 3 hours to the Goodwill store 2 exits from our house, as it was the only option that took DD (13) as a volunteer. We support lots of local non-profits and love doing a fall day for Habitat for Humanity. Wish us luck on folding & sorting!:thumbsup2

Great organizations! Enjoy Valentine's at Napa Rose...it's one of our favorite 'grown up' spots!! Be safe...and yes, trying to get to 250 for the 'close'....

you bet! I volunteered for my local symphony for a day and will be redeeming on March 7 :) I am taking my niece for her first ever visit!!!! Can't wait!

Cheerio,
Holly

I love the concept of giving to these great organizations and getting the bonus of a day with the Mouse! Plus it works better for my family than the birthday bonus in 2009:scared1:

I know we're about to move to a new thread, but I just wanted to say I think it's great that there are some on this board that are going to form a workout buddy group!!

Good for you!!! :)

If anyone enjoys running, you will most likely find me running on deck 4 almost every morning. I love to run (hence my screen name). :)

I also love to motivate and encourage people when it comes to working out and getting fit (I've had people tell me I should be a personal trainer). ;)

Anyway, assuming I'm not injured (like I am right now as I'm sitting on my couch with a torn ligament in my foot), I will for sure be working out reguarily on the ship (running on deck 4, or working out in the fitness center), and doing the Castaway 5K (along with my husband), so if anyone wants to run with me, let me know!!

You will defnitely also find me relaxing doing absolutely nothing at the quiet cove pool quite often :cool2: (or whatever the adult pool is called on the Wonder... I've only been on the Magic)!

Well, I guess we're pretty close to the new 2011 PC cruise discussion thread!
