Just found out about this perk from a friend. This is good all year long in 2025. You may already know about this. Anyway, you can enjoy blizzard beach for free staying at a Disney resort on your arrival day. This is only on your arrival day. This is worth $78 per person. If your room is not ready when you arrive you can leave your baggage at bell services and go to Blizzard Beach. Enjoy.

Someone I know just used it in April. So, the dates have changed.

The dates have not changed...
Its for the entire year of 2025.
The perk for this year was announced over a year ago.
Its for one of the two water parks.
Only one has been open. Both of them will be open from at least May 21st through September 7th. (that part was just announced a few days ago).

This perk was announced for 2025 way back in February 2024.
And its for either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard beach whichever is open during your trip and between May 21st and September 7th both will be open so you can choose which one.
Thanks,I had been wondering if maybe they would let Guests "split" their day between BB and a TL.

Bummer that we won't be allowing that.

We will be at All-Star Sports so we will probably choose BB for the direct transport.

When Scott Gustin first broke this story on Twitter someone asked about this and he confirmed you can hop on this entitlement.

Hmmm… OP if you’re going to Disney definitely do lots of up to date research. This perk has been blasted in every Disney corner of the internet since it was announced last year.

:thumbsup2 Yep, plus the tickets also show up automatically in MDE. So anyone with a resort stay has been able to see it in their account since they booked.

Yes, wanted to post BB has filled to capacity more than once lately and guests arriving have been turned away and encouraged to try again later in the day. It is an offer but like any other park, entrance is not guaranteed and guests can be turned away. It has happened and likely will continue to happen, at least until both water parks are open in late May.

I'm wondering if both parks will end up at capacity during the summer months?
At that point is it even worth planning on going just to get there and be turned away?
We usually relax by the pool and go to DS on arrival day. My sister said we should take advantage of the perk but I'm thinking it could end up being a huge waste of time when we could have been relaxing poolside with a drink and then doing some leisurely shopping etc.

I'm in the stay at the resort pool camp. Much more relaxing and once your room is ready, you are already there.

We did this this past weekend after we got off the Treasure and checked in at AOA. Waited 20 mins for the AK bus and then 30 mins with no buses in site roasting at the Ak to BB bus stop. We thought we will faint as the lien wrapped around the vending machine area (should be rounded to the shaded area). Booked a Minnie Van but then saw 4 buses suddenly appear before our Minnie Van arrived (2 people booked before us). Blizzard Beach was at capacity at around 12:30 and people were being turned away due to parking being unavailable. 20 mins to get drinks 35 mins to get ice cream. There were no chairs (lots of towels on chairs everywhere). Around 3 pm the kids splash area got shut down due to fecal matter. One and done for us.

Next day (Sun) we had MK and then kids hit the Big Blue pool at night and had a much better experience.
