I just saw this article about DCL not offering insurance for non-US guests.
Effective immediately, guests must meet all of the following criteria to qualify for Vacation Protection Plan:
  • The booking origin, or travel agency, is based in either the United States or Canada
  • The guest pays for the reservation in US dollars
  • The individual guest has a United States address

I hadn't realized it was previously available outside the US, with insurance laws and all. But figured it's worth sharing if anyone has used it in the past or has been considering it for future.

Yeah, I was kinda surprised they offered it to non-US passengers.
