Hi,
We have been struggling! We continue with grief therapy, my son has started as well. He has been diagnosed with PTSD. He is on summer break from law school and back in the province with us <3 We have tried to get answers from our hospital as we received Shavonnes medical records and there are system fails. Fails that caused her more harm.. fails that contributed to or caused her death. We are pushing for change! We do have an open page for her if anyone is interested in following along! I think of all of your kindness ever so often! I hope all is well with you!

Checking in .. I hope each of you enjoyed the holiday! We were together.. definitely missing Shavonne. My son is home for a visit. He has asked us to go on a vacation with him and his GF in Feb. We are going on a cruise out of cape canaveral, our 1 st trip to Florida without our beauty. We have been busy making plans. In between “battling “ the healthcare system for change! That’s another story!!! This is my 1st time back to this post in months. I have days full of ups and downs. Grief is messy. Love my kids … hugs to all

I think of you often and wonder how you are doing.

Yes, the healthcare system, no matter where you are, is enough to make anyone crazy. I wish you luck in getting change, it's hard, but it does happen.

Thank you so very much! We had an investigation completed… it was done by the serious reportable events team. It came back with 7 recommendations and we are continuing to follow up to ensure they happen. Shavonne will create change! We are also pushing for 2 new policies but have not conquered that. You are right… health care is rough!
