We are planning to stay in the Dolphin for 6 nights and wondering what are the good places to eat walking distance at the Boardwalk area? We went last May and there were very few places open.

Any thoughts?

Thanks! SInce we are there so many days wondering what the best options are. Headed to the parks 4 days but the others need to eat close by. No car. Might try uber eats.

Lots of good options.
Big fan of Flying Fish, Blue zoo, Il Mulino, many restaurants in EPCOT.
Have not tried Amare yet, but the menu looks good and reviews have been good.
If they don't have park tickets, they could still eat at some of the other resort restaurants and there are some really good options.
I would Uber to AKL for either Boma, Jiko or Sanaa. Get there early enough to enjoy the Savannah. have a drink at Victoria Falls after and go out and enjoy the Savannah at night.

As mentioned above, the Swan/Dolphin/Swan Reserve complex has many good options. Flying Fish is my favorite of the BW/BC/YC restaurants.

All of the crescent lake resorts have great dining options. As PPs have stated there are some great high end options for dinners.

Our favorites are (not in any particular order):

Kimonos
Il Mulino
bluezoo
Flying Fish
Ale & Compass

We haven't tried Shula's, but it gets stellar reviews. Amare at Swan Reserve was also good (not great). You could also take the Skyliner to RIV for Topolino's.

Around Crescent Lake: Flying Fish, Trattoria al Forno, Big River Grill, Ale & Compass, Cape May Cafe, Yachtman’s Steakhouse, Beaches and Cream. First three at the BW, next four at the Yacht & Beach Club. All are now open, although Flying Fish and Yachtman’s Steakhouse each operate on a five-day per week schedule at this time (subject to change as staffing improves), so check on availability. Typical closing days are either Mon-Tues, or Tues-Wed.

Crew Cup lounge at Yacht Club! It has a lot of the same food as Yachtsman but cheaper, less fancy, and no reservation required. :)

At Swolphin, Il Mulino is delicious for a nicer dinner and the Fountain is a good fast meal, with delicious ice cream to go.

Not exactly a restaurant, but I had the almond croissant of my life at the Boardwalk Bakery. I'm such a fan of it, I had it nearly every morning last June, and am counting the days until I'm reunited with it in August! Moreover, there are lots of other good looking options there too---you could get something to go and hang outside enjoying the Boardwalk atmosphere. So fun!

Avoid Yachtsman Steak House food has gone downhill in the past few years.

Couldn't agree more with these locations. Some of my favorites every time I visit the house of the mouse.

I'd easily have dinner at Kimonos twice if I was looking for a few dinners in the Boardwalk area across 6 days.
I wouldn't rule out having one of those fantastic hot subs at Fuel, and then a fancy sundae at Fountain after for a cheap but great option.
