I am aware that "Family and Friends" is not a thing like it is at Disney World.

I could just use some help in figuring out how this will work with our family trip.

My parents, like many, are not really technophiles. They don't use apps. Heck, my Dad still uses a flip phone. Neither of them have a My Disney Experience login. As such, I have always managed their profiles via My Disney Experience during our Disney World trips. So, tickets, magic bands, reservations....all that, I take care of.

But, Disneyland is a different beast.

So, I guess my first question is....what do I need to do to make sure my parents' tickets are applied correctly, their magicbands are linked correctly, all that?

My next question would be....how will Lightning Lane work? Will I be able to sign up for Lightning Lanes for all 3 of us?

THEN.

My sister will have her own reservation for her family. Is there a way to link all her tickets with all our tickets, so that we can make lightning lane reservations for all of us? I guess another question about that is....how is she able to set it up so that she has control over her kids? As far as tickets and magic band and all that?

We are about 2 months out, and now I feel way behind on getting things in order. So....here I am.

Hi- I think it’s actually easier to link everyone. In the Disneyland app
Go to tickets and passes
Then just scan the bar code of everyone’s ticket. Then when you do lightening lanes you can buy everyone’s at once and then make LL decisions for everyone.

Same goes for Magic’s bands. You can add magic bands and link them to any ticket. Example I was able to link my friends ticket to one of my magic bands for our trip.

It’s super easy. I have lots of people’s tickets/Magic Keys added to my account (family and friends). You can easily do everything for them as long as you just add their ticket to your account in the app. The only thing you can do (or if you can’t I haven’t figured it out) is make/manage dining reservations for other people.

Hijacking.. sorry. I just went to my disneyland app online and it says, "link up to 5 tickets or passes" there are 11 of us, and the child in our party has two separate tickets because the kid ticket deal starts the day after we get there. I thought you could link at least 10 tickets? I also read you could make LL selections for 12?
