Elite Villas Florida experiences?

So I think we finally have found the villa in WH we like, and I like the quote I received from the owner. The property is managed by Elite Villas Florida. Does anyone have any kind of experience with this manco?

The villa is called Florida Escape, BTW. Its a 6BR home in the reserve section--just finished 5/08. And no ongoing construction in the general area, I confirmed. Please post if you've had any kind of experience with either the manco or the villa itself! Thanks!

I have done as much research as I can, looked at tax records, etc. It's such a new villa, there's not much history to be found. But, the calendar seems to be filling up rapidly, so perhaps the feedback will start rolling in. I'm liking what I've seen so far, and the owner is extremely responsive in replying to my emails.

If the property is the 6 bed WH one it looks very nice but there is nothing on the calender for that home Perhaps the owner has not given details of their own bookings through to the MC but I would find that strange.

I think that you must be correct, the owner's calendar on their own website, www.thefloridaescape.com, shows a very full calendar. That was how I contacted the owner and she has cc'd everything to her management co. that we've communicated. When I sign the contract and a send a deposit, I make the check out to her but send it to the management co's address.

I used to own a vacation home in Kissimmee and it was managed and sometimes rented by a companies from Elite Villas/Elite Florida Villas etc. This was back in 2002.

The couple who managed our home were Yvonne and Derek Sunderland. If these are the same people then I found them to be trustworthy and dependable and had excellent feedback from my rentors (I rented direct mostly) both of the standard of the house and of their help and assistance. I have rented a vacation home from them since as I no longer own there and it was beautiful.

Most of the Elite Companies were offshoots of Elite Villas (I think!) set up by John Lance and sold off as package companies.

Just be careful that you research the right one as there appear to be many permutations!

jlbf06-Thanks for your reply. The person at the management co is Carolyn, so not your trustworthy couple, but hopefully, still capable and professional. At this point, it looks like we will go ahead with the booking, so I'll be sure to post updates about the experience.

Was searching here to see if anyone had reviewed "The Florida Escape" that's managed by Elite villas and came across your post. We're also looking at renting that villa for a week in August.

Just wondering if you've turned up any new information? The home looks excellent and I'm very excited at the prospect of staying here!

Hey mysparky! We haven't gotten any more feedback, but we went ahead and booked it for our dates in Jan/Feb 2010. We sent a deposit and signed a contract, communication has been fine with the management company, and all there is to do for several months is to keep looking at the pictures and dreaming!!!

Are you staying in August 2009? If so, you'll have to be sure and post a report for me! Have fun!
