I need to send my 60 yr old Aunt a B-Day gift, she's in Florida, and I'm thinking of sending an Edible Arrangement. Can anyone share there experience with this company? Are there any discount codes? Open to other suggestions/companies as well. Thanks!

I am not sure because my entertainment book got left in Dh's car glove box but I think there may be a coupon code in those books. We have gotten 2 of these in the last few months delivered to us for Birthday gifts and they are beautiful and yummy!

They're a little pricy, as others have mentioned, but I have used them more than once and been happy every time.

My MIL recieved one as a gift twice now. They are very YUMMY!! She's gotten the fruit ones and they always look very nice and the fruit tastes fresh. I've seen the cookie ones before in a display, but have never tried them. They are a little pricey, but a good gift for those that "have it all".

Do you think that a Small sized arrangement is good for 2 people? I can't decide whether to get a Small or pay $10 more for the Medium, she loves fruit & I want her DH to have some as well. Thinking of getting the "Delicious Celebration" or "Delicious Fruit Design". It's hard to tell how big they are from the online pics.

My MIL got the berry chocolate one (with the choc dipped strawberries and Banannas). I don't know exactly what size it was (smaller than the one pictured), but it fed 7 of us with some left over still. If I had to guess it was either the small or medium. If you are trying to feed just 2 people I would think the small would be pleanty.

I've been very happy with my experiences with the company. The arrangements are well made, make an impression and taste fantastic.

I have ordered from them before and never had any problems, they are a little pricey but, everyone seems to love getting them as a gift.

Also, last year when my mom died we received 4 or 5 large edible arrangements from companies that my stepfather had business dealings with (he owns an electrician business). Anyway, my mom & stepdad lived in Florida,( step dad still lives there) and a couple of the arrangements arrived at the house when no one was home to accept delivery. What I thought was really great was that the arrangements were left inside the front screen door inside an insulated cooler bag with ice packs. I have no idea how long the fruit was there but, the arrangements were perfect and ice cold. I only mentioned this so you wouldn't worry about what happens if no one is home to accept delivery.

we have ordered in the past and, frankly, the fruit was about as good as out of season fruit is...meaning not tons of taste but it was lovely looking. One word of caution: even the small ones of these may be more than one person can eat before it goes bad. There were 4 of us chomping on it and we still ended up throwing about half of it out after 4 days or so...the 'shelf life' is about 3-4 days, I think.

HTH.

DH has sent me a few arrangements over the years, almost always the same one, and I love it every time! It's pricey, but delicious. He sends them to my office, and there's so much fruit, that I always share. The one he sends is the one that looks like a bouquet (has the pineapple/cantaloupe flowers) with the chocolate-dipped apples in it. The chocolate apples are definitely the best part! Not sure about discounts...I think I've seen coupons before, but I can't remember where.

I used them once for my daughters birthday, it was a special sleep over and I ordered the Mickey mouse one, I had a great coupon and wanted to use it. WELLLL...they sent the WRONG ONE- we got big bird instead and my daughter started crying when we opened it! She said "everyone will think I'm a baby if I like that ugly thing!!!"

Well, needless to say, we now have a credit for another arrangement, we'll use it soon. The fruit was 'good' not the BEST I've had, but it was good.

Lets hope they send the right one next time!

My FIL just passed away :sad1: and we received one last week. It was a large arrangement with cantelope, honeydew melon, huge strawberries, grapes and chocolate dipped pineapple daisies. I was amazingly fresh and delicious. It's the first one we have ever had and the 4 of us polished it off in 2 days. I saved the sticks, and I counted 67. About $1/stick - shelf life maybe 3-4 days if you take it apart and store the fruit. Would definately give as a gift in the future.

i have used them twice..both times was for mothers day . one for my mom one for his..
my moms got eatten that day and no issues.
my mother in law.. they only ate half of it the first day, the second day . i went to open it and it smelt like alcohol.. thats a sign of rotting fruit.(this dispite the fact that i put it in the fridge before i left. it had not been left out.)

for the price i paid for it i would have expected more
i WILL NOT use them again!:headache:

yes we love it... I send an arrangement to my dd at college for birthday or around finals and all her roommates love it

Just got one from my boss this week while I"m recuperating from surgery. The fruit was so fresh, it was the only thing in the fridge that appealed to me!
