Dolphin and Swan Pools

Do the Dolphin and Swan share a pool (like Yacht and Beach Club)?

Are they two seperate resorts?

From my understanding all 3 resorts can use the quiet pool at swan and the bigger pool at dolphin. These are not connected. I do not think sawn/dolphin can go to the reserve pool. But I can be wrong here. All 3 are separate resorts. And pool areas are all separate.

We've stayed at both Swan and Dolphin and we could use all of the pools on the Swan/Dolphin property. I have no idea if you can use the Swan Reserve pool - that resort is across a major street from Swan/Dolphin, so I, personally, wouldn't want to go over there to use a pool.

We just stayed at the Dolphin and were told the Swan and Dolphin quiet pools are not shared however the main large grotto pool is shared between the two resorts. Guests of Swan and Dolphin cannot use the Swan Reserve Pool however the SR guests can use the all Swan/Dolphin pools.

Buses, when you grab a bus at Dolphin, it will stop at Swan and SR to pick/drop guests. In room dining. I believe all in room dining comes from one kitchen but can't recall if it's the swan or dolphin. I do know that SR guests have no on site laundry so if they do need to wash clothes, they use the S/D facilities.

We just got back from the Swan. We used the main grotto pool area. IF you plan on using their towels, you must show your key card in order to get them. I believe laundry is on the Dolphin property. They share buses. For HS/Epcot, we walked for early entry, but for all other times we used the boats.

The entire Grotto pool and beach complex is available to all 3 resorts. There is a Dolphin lap pool and a Swan lap pool. Both are also available to any of the 3. The Reserve has a small, 'convenience' pool, I think for Reserve guests who just might want to go for a swim and not utilize the Grotto complex across the street at the S/D. I can see no reason why a S/D guest would have any interest in walking over to the Reserve pool.

Remember, if you are going to use the common pool complex, it is about equidistant to both S?D hotels, If using the Dolphin lap pol or the Swan lap pool, each is closer to their respective hotels. If you are going to the common complex, The Grotto, and staying at the Dolphin, make sure to request a room in the west. If in the east, it can be a hike, Does not make a lot of difference at the Swan.

Swan and Dolphin are connected to each other with a 545 foot causeway.

I have stayed at both the Swan and the Dolphin and while we were at POR this past month we went over to the S and D to eat and walk around. This thing I noticed about the Dolphin pools at this time was they were incredibly noisy, with that awful pounding music, which is not my cup of tea (anymore). The Swan lap pool was quiet though. Something to consider if you are more 'mature' and just want some peace and quiet.
