Do you wear your crocs in December?

I was just wondering if it will be too cold at night at the parks to wear crocs. We do use socks with them , but I don't know if that will be enough to keep our feet warm if it ends up being cold. So what do you croc users do during this time of year? I don't want to risk wearing sneakers all day b/c I know my feet will ache badly!:scared1:

I wear my crocs year round. As a matter of fact there is snow on the ground here and I am still wearing my crocs (I do have socks on with them).

I do, it is not cold enough in December there for me not to. I wear them all the time.

Okay, I live down here AND suffer from chronically cold feet, so keep that in mind!

My answer is sometimes... generally, if the temp's over 75 I'm good in Crocs with no socks. With socks down to about 65. Past that, no way.

I plan to bring my crocs w/out the holes to wear. I think the crocs w/holes might not be warm enough to wear there at night.

Last night I noticed Macy's was selling the crocs lined with the faux fur. I've never seen those before. They were selling a lot of them here.

I am a big "Crocks with Socks" dork. Have them on today and it's 28 degrees here.

TIP - To wash your crocs, you can

A- wear them in the shower with you. (this is ok, but they dont get 100% clean)

B- just stick them in the dishwasher. they come out brand new looking.

Cheers.

In Texas, we wear shorts year round so we wear Crocs year round too. I'll be taking my Crocs with me tomorrow for our 7 day trip.:yay: Me, DW and DD3 have matching black w/red strap Mickey crocs.

We live about 20 miles north of Boston, and I'm still wearing my crocs ! Sockless, too !! I say wear 'em, you'll be fine. Have fun !! :thumbsup2

I live in upstate New York and my sister wore her croc flip flops yesterday! Unless you have a tendency for your feet to get cold, you'll be fine.

It's 7 degrees here today and I wore my crocs to take my grandson to school. Wore them grocery shopping the other night and it was 4 below. I do wear socks with them, but then I always wear socks with them, no matter what the weather, so that's not a surprise :) When it gets this cold I wear two pair of socks instead of one, and try not to step in snowdrifts. As soon as I see the Wooly ones I'll buy some.

I just wore them for a week at Disney World with socks and it got down to around 47 in the evenings and I was quite comfortable. I think it depends a lot on what you are used to...one person posted 65 is cold for them. I get warm in Florida at 65 and wear capris and short sleeved shirts. Kind of depends on what your body is acclimated to.

Crocs year round! Socks if necessary!

I never wear socks (or shoes with heels) so I will be bringing 2 pair of Crocs with me when we leave on Sunday. My feet are always too warm, but I think you will be OK with socks if your feet get cold.

I say GO FOR IT!

Transplanted Bostonian wearing my crocs sockless with snow on the ground. Will defidently wear crocs when we get there on the 20th. No socks! It won't get that cold down there.:cool1:

Yes, your feet will stay warm with Crocs & socks. We go every year in December & last year was our first trip with ----
1. Crocs
2. Brand new cotton socks
3. BodyGlide
I can truly say it is the ONLY time that our feet & legs did not hurt at the end of the day & when we went to bed at night & woke up the next morning, our legs did not hurt at all, it was truly unbelieveable. :yay: My son (age 12) & I (age 38) both exercise & eat healthy, but previously at the end of the day & next morning our feet & legs hurt, NOT NOW. This is truly our secret weapon for being able to go "commando" style thru Disneyworld for 8 days.
:santa: :santa: Dec 8th-15th, 2007 at Pop Century, we fly out at 6:00 AM in the morning & arrive in Orlando in the morning at 9:35 AM:banana:

I have summer time crocs which are the capri flip flops and wintertime crocs which are the celeste canvas crocs. I try to cover all bases...especially if it rains.

Crocs year round with socks when neccessary. Of course I do live in Florida but even when I head to see my best friend in NC I wear Crocs

I wore crocs last year without socks this year I'm bringing socks, it gets cold at night.

Wore my Croc flip flops last week-end @ MGM - of course it's nice & toasty down here at the moment. (Also wore shorts & t-shirt, too) Plan to wear them again this Sunday when we day trip to Epcot. DD bought me the "wooly" crocs for Christmas so I'll have them to wear in January for the 3 days we're there. Whichever way you decide to wear your crocs I'm sure you'll be fine - especially since you're at WDW.................:mickeyjum

I bought a pair of the lined crocs for the winter. I have been wearing them for about a month now, here in Michigan. I wear my crocs any time I go to Disney. I usually always wear them with socks.

I have been wearing my Mammoth Crocs (the wooly ones) and it has been in the low 50's here in Northern California. My feet have been tosty warm in them with out socks. It has even been a little wet outside and still no problems because they are higher off the ground than the originals I think. Also, they don't have the holes on the side.
