Do you wear socks with Uggs??? Here is a laugh.

Last night we went out to a dinner at a bar/grill for my father's Birthday. I forgot that we were going back to his house for cake and coffee after.

Well well. I am now frantically looking around the truck for socks, but naturally there are no socks in my truck... ....My father is remarried, and I am not 'that' comfortable with the new wife to ask for socks or slippers....

So, I found a pair of black mitts, and brought them in. While in the foyer I put them on, and pushed in the thumb.. Nobody knew, and my husband is still laughing about this today, as are my kids...

Thankfully I have smallish feet, and had on long jeans ....

So, I have to rethink my NO sock wearing with my Uggs, or keep socks in my truck..

Thought it was a fun Friday giggle...

I always like to wear very thin trouser socks with my Uggs. It could by psychological, but I feel the socks pull in more of any sweat or moisture from my feet, so I throw them into the wash and hopefully keep my Uggs fresher smelling for longer periods of time.

DD12 had Uggs. The first morning she wore them so school I reminded her to get socks. Both she and DD14 informed me "you don't wear socks with Uggs". Apparently I am a dofus because I thought you did.

I found out you also don't wear socks with ballerina type shoes. Who knew!

I really thought DD was just trying to get away without socks (she hates them even in the winter). I let her go without them but called my sister (who is a fashionista) to ask her. Now it is slightly humiliating when your children know it and you don't but my sister acted like I had committed a crime by asking. (She hates my fashion choices)

I do make DD use foot powder when she wears the Uggs. She sweats a lot and I don't want them to stink like her sneakers.

I wear all kinds of shoes without socks but then again I don´t have a problem with running around barefoot in other peoples homes. It´s very common practice around here.

I opened up a birthday present not 20 minutes ago, it was Ugg slippers! I have a pair of Ugg boots but wanted slippers as well.
