Oops! You are absolutely right. I really need to get in touch with her! Tell her I am the lady that had the Alexandrite ring on the New Year's Eve cruise. She might remember me. I was in cabin 5500, if she wants to reach me via address. Thanks for anyone's help on this. Also, I am trying to find out the taxpayer number of the medical group on board. My son hurt his foot playing basketball on board. In order to submit medical bill to my insurerer, I need this info. I have not had any luch contacting guest services in Buena Vista to date. Thanks again! i

Darren, did you get my email? Trying to get in touch with Candace from onboard sales....short red hair, sits up on deck 4 where you booked your back to back, you miserable thing!!lol, Just kidding, I hope you are having the time of your life, I'm going to try the same for my birthday in March. Need some pixie dust though...Which cruise do you like better so far??

Drink Station

Went up to the drink station this morning and got a shock. The barrier around it had gone and it has gone completely back to self service, also all the buffets have gone back to self service today (one day sooner than last week).

lexmom - as soon as I get a chance I will go and see Andrea for you!

Today's Update

St Maarten has been great fun, I took a taxi with a friend over to the french side of the island for a bit of an explore, the French capital is much more attractive than Philipsburg (Dutch capital) although there is not so much to see (it is quite small), also the shops over there are quite expensive. Unfortunatly the weather hasn't been too great today it has been hot but we've had a lot of rain and I managed to get very wet! We have been lucky in one way though, this week we're staying in port until 9:30pm instead of the usual 7:30pm (it seems to vary).

Unfortunatly I had to do laundry this morning, not too much fun but thats what happens when you do a two week cruise, I did most of it myself but sent a few difficult items to the on-board laundry.

Well i'm getting excited about dinner and of course the DECK PARTY tonight (the best parts of the trip for me!!!). It's Tropicalifragalisticexpialidocous night so i've got my tropical gear on!

Speak to you all soon!

Thx for sharing your trip Darren, it helps deal with the freezing temperatures up North!

Thought I might see you at the party up on deck 9 tonight but there were so many people. I wish we had done what you did today, I hadn't been to St Maarten in 15 years and boy was it a disappointment. The trash and the smell was horrible. We headed back to the ship early for some R&R. Come to Dueling Piano's Wednesday night and all of us can party together.

Have a Disney Day!!:earsgirl: :teeth: :earsgirl:

It's St. Thomas day, Darren. Don't forget those bushwackers for your "family"! Sounds like you are enjoying yourself so much. I like knowing that you are doing different things than the stuff we all did in October.

Darren, where did you go?? Figured I'd give ya a bump up...so, have you decided which you like better? Western or Eastern? Heard it was hot in St. Thomas today....it's -31c here...:(

We need an update, Darren. Are you leaving the ship Saturday or going for a three-peat!! Your family still misses you.

Maybe he missed the boat at St. Thomas!

Or maybe he just had too many Bahama-mama's! ;)

Ooooooh, I can just picture it now. Day at Sea and deck four chairs. Man, I wish I was you.

The last post by Target was actually me, dianedisney. How it happened I have no clue. Possibly someone didn't log out I just don't have a clue kinda weird. So as far as I know, Target is not on the cruise with us.

Have a Disney Day!!

OK Diane, where's Darren? He either missed the boat or is slacking on us, the bum! ;) Glad you checked in. How's the cruise going???

Darren is alive and well, I just had lunch with him in the Parrot Cay dining room. He was heading to the afternoon show of Disney Dreams. He will most likely be checking in this evening. The cruise is wonderful and we are already talking about our next one. Like Darren we are talking about doing Back to Back cruises. Darren was on the panel last night for the show "Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer". They received really cool pins that have "panelist" on it and are very hard to come by, hence, make them very collectable. Got to go, by the way, Darren has just entered the Internet Cafe here and will post soon.

Have a Disney Day!!

No I didn't miss the ship in St Thomas! :D , but sorry I didn't post yesterday, I was very busy!

Anyway here's the update!

St. Thomas

Well I woke up to the sound of my alarm at 6am, it nearly killed me. After about 20 mins of trying to lift myself out of bed I managed to get myself up, get some clothes on and head down to immigration. It was at this point that I kept thinking about the Western and the fact that we didn't have to do this until the last day. In the end we were all left waiting as the immigration officers didn't turn up to Rockin' bar D until 6:50!

After that I decided to head up onto deck 10 to watch some of the other ships come in. Watched the Navigator of the Seas pull in behind us (one of the biggest ships in the world) it may be big but it has nothing on the Disney ship! After getting ready (properly!) I decided to head off the ship and boy was it hot!!! (This is where I make all of you living up North feel very jealous!). The temperature peaked in the mid-80's although it felt more like 90!

I didn't do that much on the island, had a look around the shops and met up with my friend (Lorenzo, he's a server in Palo's) and just had a bit of a walk around, enjoying the sun of course ;)

Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer?

Last nights show was Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer and it was great fun! I was determined to get picked to be on the panel so as soon as they asked for people I started jumping up and down and waving my hands about (what the heck i'm on vacation right?), and yes I got picked! We did very well, getting every question that was asked to us correct. Although they did nearly stump us on one. At the end we all got a special pin that cruise director Jim told us to hold on to as he had seen it go for $250 on Ebay!!! too funny!

Dinner

Last night was Animators show night for me and it was a great as always. The menu is just too good and I ended up having to order 2 desserts!

More updates on there way.... (including info on today!)

Does anyone have any more questions???

°o° HAVE A MAGICAL DAY everyone °o°

I hadn't figured out the 'schedule' yet to realize that the Navigator was in St.Thomas with the Magic. We will be on the Navigator in April 2004 (eastern). And I am mixed with so many different feelings. I am glad to be trying something different but I am so afraid that we will miss the MAGIC of a disney cruise! And now to think that we will have to actually 'see' the Magic in port is so sad to me! I dont' want to seem ungrateful -- but I am having such a hard time accepting the fact that we don't have another trip planned on the Magic. Maybe I'll have to book the magic for 2005 before we head out on the Navigator! Then I can look at 'her' knowing we will soon be there again!
;)
