For the 2024 half marathon weekend, I stayed at the park vue inn. Right across the street from the Disneyland entrance and for the races it was only a block away from one of the back entrances. The plus to that was our security line was way shorter than the main one. It seemed to me that a lot of people stayed off property. It was very nice to walk to the start. No stressing about buses like Disneyworld.I'm hoping to register for the DL race weekend, which will be my first race weekend on the west coast. We usually stay off property, since so many hotels are close within walking distance. Do people do this for race weekends? Do the off-property hotels have race transportation? I'm not sure I want to be walking to the parks at three in the morning if they don't. Do most runners just stay onsite? Appreciate any feedback.
I hope you get it! I love the DL 5k course. Starting by the castle/on Main Street is awesome.I've recently gotten into running and am excited to get started with RunDisney events! I'm on the West Coast so the Disneyland events make a lot of sense to start with, so I'm a little bummed that they'll be on hiatus for a while. I have a work event in San Francisco on the 31st and 1st, so I'll only be able to do the 5k on the 30th. Was almost going to skip this one because I won't be able to be there for long, but the hiatus solidified that I definitely want to try to get in, since we don't know when they'll return. Excited and nervous for registration next week!
They don’t have official Disney transportation but for one race we stayed at the Sheraton Park hotel and they had ART transportation running early and they picked us up at the hotel ( they run on a schedule for all of the nearby hotels) and dropped us off at Disneyland ( not race start area) . That was nice. That was before COVID, not sure they are still running bit would look into that. For the 2024 half marathon weekend, I stayed at the park vue inn. That's true, I had forgotten that! For the 2024 HM weekend I rode special early morning ART buses to and from the 5K. American Cancer Society Team DetermiNation still has bibs.Does anyone know of any charities still offering bibs for 2026 HM weekend?
Does the fundraising amount include the race registration fee?American Cancer Society Team DetermiNation still has bibs.

You do not have to pay a registration fee. All you have to do is fundraise. There is a midway point where you have to hit your 1/2 way fundraising goal. I typically kick start my fundraising by donating my race fee to the goal.Does the fundraising amount include the race registration fee?
Looks like bib reservations are closed.American Cancer Society Team DetermiNation still has bibs.

That's what my friend decided to do. She originally only signed up with a charity for the 5k but after the hiatus announcement, she didn't want to take any risks.Dang you know registration is going to be crazy if the charities are filling up before gen reg is even open. Like smart choice don't get me wrong but still dang.
