How much in advance really is it possible to book themepark reservations for Disneyland???

Is it 180 days in prior of arrival or just like my agent wrote me 120 days prior. Since I am confused with the information out where it is stated sometimes 180 days and rarely 120 days as well.????

Will see it this weekend on Saturday or Sunday if I can book them or if not I guess it will be the 120 days but on the Homepage it isn´t any information. Why can´t Disney provide with more detailed information on their Homepage. Why we always have to dig out so hardly???? :confused3

Has Disney extended it from 120 to 180 some few times ago, I think some news like that maybe were happened some time ago or did I just think I have witnessed or believed to have seen heard about it???

Right now when I look at the calendar it appears to be 180 days. That is what I see online when I search for the answer to the question. Are there particular dates you are trying to reserve?

(This is in reference to regular park tickets, not Magic Keys / Annual Passes)

mid September but on the phone App it spotted 182 days so maybe at the Weekend it may will be able. I think til 2023 it may was 120 days but than the extended it to 180 days but maybe the shortened it lately again not sure will see.

But I am hoping if not that it will be possible around mid May and there will be like she mentioned still enough possible reservations left.

Even when I wish I could do them sooner than later and worry about not catching some not sure how popular and spreaded the interests will be since Halloween Season and other strange things appearing as well.

But I am having a vacation package maybe the 180 is for tickets only and Vacation Packages may have to wait til the 120 days Mark???

if is extremely rare to see any days sell out at even a few weeks ahead of time. I wouldn’t stress about it. If you can make your reservations a month in advance, you have basically zero chance of not being able to make it.

It is 180 days out, one day at a time, for regular theme park reservations.

60 days out, one day at a time, for dinning reservations.

A lot of WDW people get confused not being able to book length of trip on Day 60. Once upon a time you could only make dining reservations in person day of. I remember going to Blue Bayou in the morning to make our reservation for the day.
I remember those days. So what did you get done during Rope Drop? I secured a lunch reservation for the Blue Bayou :)

I remember rope dropping as a kid. Back then, the rope was on Main Street, just past the flag pole. We also had our ticket books in hand so queues were very different.

I preferred when rope drop was at the end of Main Street not at the hub as it is now. I assume they moved it because it got too popular and everyone didn't fit on Main Street anymore.

I remember my cousin telling me that they let you in to the parks 30 minutes before the park opened. I begged my mom to have us go early. So we did and didn't understand the big deal. Of course back then we also were able to do most all the rides/attractions in a single day.

Rope drop wasn't as big of a thing back then.
Yes I realize that. We lived about 35 minutes away and would still try and rope drop as we didn't buy APs even though we were local.

Our family always wanted to eat at the Blue Bayou every trip and have the chicken dinner when going to Knott's
