Disney inspired nails for vacation

I'm going to have my nails done before we leave and thought it might be nice to have them Disney "inspired". I was thinking something like red with white polka dots for Minnie, (or just one or two with dots) or SOMETHING. I really don't have much of an imagination...lol...and I don't really wear red nail polish, but I figured SOMEONE here might have some ideas or examples of what you do to your nails on vacation.

I realize this may be a little "out there"...but I don't care...lol.

I saw the Mickey head rhinestone idea on the boards last year and tried it for my trip -- loved it!! So cute -- pretty too, but subtle. I actually did it myself. I found a rhinestone kit in Target for $1 (in the girls makeup section) and it had the perfect sizes.

OK, here is my attempt...I was practicing up for our trip next month and this is when DH officially decided I was over the edge

I had just the three dot mickey head in black dots on my thumbs. I had a french manicure. Mickey got VERY excited when one of the handlers asked him what he though of my nails, and dragged me over to the camera

for our trip this past may, I found orange nail polish, and painted my toes, then dh took a sharpie and made tiger stripes, since I'm a huge tigger fan. I might do that for our Sept trip too, it looked pretty good.

I did lime green on one trip last year -- thought I'd never find polish the right color. I'm thinking red with white polka dots next time

If WDW had a place to do mani/pedi with these designs I would be there in a heartbeat. I wonder if you can get this type of nail art at WDW spas?

They actually sell nail polish paint pens in the nail polish section of store like wal-mart and target. They are useful for making some designs.

If you do any designs I would do a clear coat as well just to make sure it stays nice.

You would do even red with white dots like Minnie and maybe a mickey head in black. But even just the polka dots are cute.

I'm so excited! I went right out and bought red nail polish and I did find some rhinestones to try the mickey head. I may or may not post the results depending on the outcome...lol. The pens sound like a good plan as well.

If you try something or have something done post it so we can all see...

May I have 6 weeks to go...I'm going to have a hard time deciding. Do you think it would be dumb to have different nails represent different characters? Minnie, Micky, Tigger, Eyeore...There's so many possibilities.
