Disappointed with Chefs de France on Saturday

Chefs has always been a favorite of ours. My husband and I went in June and loved it, everything was great as usual. When we went back a few weeks ago with the whole family, the food was markedly different. Even the chicken dish, which we love and has always been memorable, wasn't up to par. We may rotate something else into the dining repertoire for our next trip and try them again further on down the road.

This used to be one of my favorites also, even before when it was paired with potatoes vs. linguine. Unfortunately now it seems it is just a cheap knockoff of what the dish used to be. It is really disappointing because we used to really enjoy this restaurant.

So true, we really used to enjoy it!

I really like the atmosphere but the food is at best, average, and preparation can be quite variable. Not consistent. As such, it is off my rotation.

We stopped going to Chef's couple years ago. It's just not the same.

Yea we noticed changes a few years ago and haven't been back.

I can’t say it’s one of my favorite World Showcase eateries simply because for a variety of reasons I rarely eat there but there are certain dishes that were true bistro Parisienne: the salmon w/lemon sauce, escargots, and salads always come to mind. The theming of the place is spot on and probably helps the nostalgic feeling but no one could fake those amazingly simple yet rich desserts.
I’m sorry for those in the “meh” corner but that just leaves more ADRs for others.
