Myself, I spent the day working in the yard and giving the grass its first mowing of the season.

Apparently, "winter" ain't got quite the same impact down this way as it does in most other areas of the continent.

It's supposed to be -15F tomorrow morning... I don't even remember what grass looks like.

If you say it using Charles Emerson Winchester's voice when ever he was addressing the other occupants of the swamp... Then he's most certainly in the right room.

Hey, guys! How's it going? Hope everyone had a good New Year! I didn't stay up, never do now, but did take the family up to Boston to go see the Harry Potter Experience with some friends. Had a great time. They had some costumes and props from the movies as well as some interactive exhibits. Outside that things are good.

Well let's see...
I went to bed at 10:30-10:45pm after I got home from work. Fell asleep around 11pm... got woken up at midnight by fireworks and a few texts. Fell back asleep around 3am. Got up at 5am for work.

So I'd already seen quite a lot of Jan 1 by the time most sane people were waking up.

but did take the family up to Boston to go see the Harry Potter Experience with some friends. Had a great time. They had some costumes and props from the movies as well as some interactive exhibits. Outside that things are good.

Good evening. Where is everyone? I’m just coming off a few six day work weeks. Have to leave for my shift three hours before to get a parking spot because working at Epcot during marathon month is a real treat for parking. We are still freezing here, it was 42 this morning when I went into work. Hope everyone is doing well. I did get to meet the head bacon officer in Epcot a few days ago.

Took two... so far. Today's 7:30am-4pm shift and tonight's Midnight-8:30am shift. We'll see how tomorrow night (and the next night (had 3 midnight shifts in a row)) goes.

On the plus side, my ECG looked normal, so there's that.

Hope everyone is well, and warm. It's pretty cold here in the land of Cape Cod, 15 degrees as of right now. All's well on my end. Not sure if I told you guys, but my DMiL, DW and DD will be taking a trip to Ireland in June for a 2 week period. This means I'll be a bachelor for those two weeks while I stay home and watch the two dogs, ours and my DMiL's. I'm actually looking forward to it. I took some vacation time myself during those two weeks, not the full two weeks, but a Thursday, Friday and Monday and Tuesday, so a nice little vacation right in the middle. Because of the dogs I can't take off on an overnight trip somewhere, but I can take day trips and have some fun.

Well, off to work. Have a great day, everyone.
