hi all ,i am curious to see what you think is the best cruise month's are? we are in the planning stages of a cruise and trying to decide when to book.we have been in JANUARY TO THE BAHAMAS,TOO COOOLD, and WE HAVE BEEN TO THE BAHAMAS IN JULY , TO HOTTTTT.i am afraid of the hurricane seasons.what months are hurricane season?we are wanting to go on a 7 DAY western carribean for our next cruise.please give me some info and opinions PLEASE.
thanks,misty

Why not try in the springtime (March - May), since you have an aversion to hot and cold. Also, No hurricanes! (June - November is hurricane season in the tropics)

We always go in May because there are a couple of weeks in May that have cheaper rates than Mar, Apr or Jun. Plus, the weather is usually perfect. It looks like May 8-15, 2004 would be the cheaper week for the Western cruise.

We have cruised DCL in the months of January, February July, August and October...all were great except the January trip to the Western Caribbean was a bit cool (this was on the 1/4/03 Magic).

Well, I'm just speaking from our one cruise, but we went in October and loved it. The rates were considerably lower then summer / holiday break times and the ship wasn't packed. The weather was amazing...minus one shower at the end of our Castaway day. In addition, we did 6 nights at the parks before this, and it couldn't have been more perfect with no lines anywhere, we were able to get all our unplanned PS when we wanted them and the Epcot Food and Wine fest was there. By the way, we have no kids....I know that may play a part in it for you, but we loved October! ( I am happily planning our 7 day for October 04):sunny: (It can't come soon enough!)

We have cruised in both early December and September and have had better weather than at home on both trips.
Actually the weather was fine on both.

We are thinking of May for our next cruise, but it wouldn't be for a few years.

We went on the 7 night Western during Thanksgiving week and the weather was very good.

hi all, thanks for the suggestions and replies.we have really thought about march and may for our next cruise.we will not be going to DISNEY before or after the cruise.
also i dont know whether we will cruise DCL or not the big problem with DCL is no casino on board,we have used CCL on both of our other cruises and will probably go with them again.we can get past guest rates if we use CCL.another thing is that we are all adults no children.
thanks,misty
