Not sure if I'm “seasoned” enough to post the broker yet. Everyone I encountered in this transaction was professional and the process went quickly & smoothly. Although it felt like the ROFR wait was long. As well as the time from deed recording to contract showing in account. But as soon as I saw the points I jumped online to book what I think is one of only 2 SSR standard 2 bedrooms with a roll-in shower to celebrate Mum's 90th with family! Yay!

Congrats! It's a slow process, but it's all worth it in the end.

Resale is emotionally brutal compared to Direct (a couple months to get your points in your account versus minutes, Direct). But reminds me of a dentist appointment, not long afterwards you're like "that was no biggie..." Next thing you know, you're looking an another resale contract that might work too.

A couple months of unhappily waiting for closing, is so worth it, for years of happily waiting for our next vacation

Last time I sold, since the resort was an unlikely ROFR, I asked escrow to prepare the documents as soon as the 10 days were up. They were notarized and back to escrow before the ROFR came thru. Getting the documents to the sellers sooner might help.

I don’t know how www.dvcclosings.com did it but we closed within 72 hours both times we purchased when them.
