Would the Christmas parade be better at 2:30 PM or 5:30 PM? Do they add lights to the parade at 5:30 PM? Thx.

Yes, it’s lit up! I’ve seen both and both are great! If you watch from Main Street the 5:30 parade also has the ambiance of the lit Christmas tree and garlands. If you watch by Small World the 5:30 parade has the extra ambiance of the facade of IASW all lit up. I was actually just there tonight and I’m now very much feeling the Christmas spirit!

I was wondering the same thing. But what I am really wondering is one parade more crowded vs the other. I don't want to wait 90 minutes for the parade. Plus mom will be in a scooter which will either make things easier or much harder.

It might depend on the day of the week or if it was a holiday. On a school night, locals with little ones often leave earlier so the second parade might be less crowded.

On the flip side, on a school night, families with school age children might not arrive until after school lets out.

With everything lit up, I think the second parade is more magical.

If you haven't seen it before, then the evening parade, sitting on Main Street with the garlands overhead, cannot be beat.

It's even better in person. Just so magical!
Yes! It looks like something out of a dream! Where were your parade seats for that one? In front of the Partner's Statue? I am going this Saturday and would love to try and get a seat with a similar vantage point!

We were in the hub near the Partners Statue, but on the curb.
