I know this is a real simple cookie recipe, but I can't seem to find mine anywhere at home. If anyone could share this recipe I would really appreciate it. :goodvibes

Here are a few for you - for variety - lol. The first one is a little harder, but, delish Enjoy....

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Balls

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 cups creamy peanut butter
2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 cups dry milk powder
2 cups cornflakes cereal
15 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped

DIRECTIONS
Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil or waxed paper.
In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, peanut butter, confectioners' sugar and powdered milk until smooth. Mix in the cornflakes. Wet hands and roll tablespoonfuls of dough into balls. Place them onto the prepared cookie sheet, cover and refrigerate overnight.
The next day, melt chocolate in a metal bowl over simmering water, stirring occasionally until smooth. Remove bowl from heat. Using a fork, dip the balls into the chocolate and return them to the foil covered cookie sheet. Refrigerate until firm. These can be made up to a week ahead if kept refrigerated.

This is a easy one:

INGREDIENTS
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
Mix ingredients by hand, roll into balls. Roll or dip into the following ingredients: coconut, cocoa, sprinkles, icing sugar, graham cracker crumbs. Refrigerate. Enjoy!!!

Found another easy one - lol

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
1 cup butter
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon shortening

DIRECTIONS
Mix together peanut butter, butter or margarine, confectioners' sugar, and graham cracker crumbs. Shape into 1 inch balls.
Melt chocolate chips and shortening in top of double boiler. Dip balls into chocolate mixture and let dry on waxed paper. (Poke each ball with a toothpick for easier dipping.)

1 1/4 c butter, softened
18 oz jar creamy peanut butter
7 c powdered sugar (about 1 1/2 lbs)
3 c (18 oz) milk chocolate morsels

Blend butter and peanut butter until thoroughly blended. Add powdered sugar and blend until no longer crumbly. Shape mixture into 1 inch balls. Cover and chill thoroughly. Melt chocolate in double boiled or in microwave. Use wooden pick to dip each ball in chocolate, coating three-fourths of ball. Place on wax paper. Let candies stand until chocolate hardens. Store in airtight container in fridge. Yield: 8 dz

My daughter loves these! Better than Reese's cups!!

growing up these were called buckeyes as in Ohio Buckeyes

My recipe is the plain old ones that my family has been making sense before my time:

1 stick of butter
1 jar of Jif (the regular size jar, not the big one, not sure on "ounces")
1 box confectioner's sugar (1/2 lb I believe, but the regular small box you see on the shelves)

Mix butter and peanut butter and gradually add SIFTED conf sugar so you won't have lumps.

Dip in melted chocolate ( I like the chocolate almond bark because it is ready to use and dries hard without refrigeration)

Heres my recipe:

equal amounts...
2 cups powdered sugar
2 cups crushed graham crackers
2 cups peanut butter

roll into balls, and dip/cover with melted milk chocolate.

I just wanted to post to say that one time I could not find this in my recipe book, although I knew I had used it before. Finally found it in the candy section, not cookie section.
