Chip & Dale "Apple core..."

My DH is driving me insane with this, so I am bringing the question here to you! He used to play this game as a kid, it goes like this:

(you finish eating an apple)
"Apple core"
(a friend responds)
"Baltimore"
(1st person)
"Who's your friend?"
(2nd person - points)
"He is!"

And then you throw the apple core at that person. Now I've never heard of this, it was not something I did, but he says it was in a Chip & Dale cartoon. This rang a bell! I remember something about Chip and Dale doing this to Donald over and over in a cartoon. Can anyone verify this and find me any information?

Not sure about that one either, never head of it before. But it did make me think of a Chip and Dale cartoon I've been looking for for a very long time. It must have been a Christmas special, Chip and Dale were in a Christmas tree running around and I thought it was the coolest thing ever when I was a kid. Anyone know of that one?

It was indeed an old Chip/Dale/Donald cartoon. Donald has, I believe, a bunch of apples in a silo. Of course, Chip and Dale keep getting into them. At the end, all of the apples spill out of the silo and then the "Apple Core" scene happens. Now, I may be remembering some of the order wrong because I haven't seen that cartoon in years! It does exist though. My brother and I sometimes quote that, as do my fiance and I. hehehe

DisneyJules - I love that one too! Mickey is decorating the Christmas tree and Chip and Dale are in the tree and they are messing with Pluto. At one point, Dale hides on the mantle with a bunch of Santa candles and his hat gets lit up! Chip has to come and snuff him out - I have that scene captured in a Disney collectors statue.

The cartoon you guys are referring to is called "Donald Applecore", I believe. At the end Donald, Chip and Dale are fighting with an explosive apple and each one wants to give it to someone else. At the end, the "Applecore" routine is run, Donald ends up with the apple, and ends up on the other side of the Earth, where people walk upside down. I think that's how it goes. I haven't seen it for a while, so refresh my memory if the ending is not quite like that.

It's an old one - my cousin and I used to do the Chip and Dale routines when we were kids - "I'm Chip, I'm Dale! We're such an incredible combination! We are Chip and Dale!" along with the Apple Core schtick too. I'm guessing this was 25 years or so ago?
