? Challenge Coin - Need help with Design ?

The 2025 coin was incredible! I absolutely love mine and it is now up on my shelf amongst other running memories - the coin is my favorite! You have real talent, and not sure I could add much. But looking forward to 2026 and very happy to contribute some funds. Hoping the job front stays smooth for you!

and dont feel like you all need to help with funding this. it's not cheap to make..well its more the mold price and shipping that doubles the costs but i write these off on my taxes as Disney expenses - that's ok with the IRS right?

Holy cow! This year’s coin looks amazing. I’m sorry I wasn’t brave enough to introduce myself at the morning meet ups. I have no design talent but just wanted to give you some encouragement. Whatever you go with will be incredible I’m sure.

more than anything i give these out to feel better about me and trying to get over my fiancee breakup - which has been 3 years ago so I'm not doing great yet but with this group, with all of you, i hope i will get there. so just pay it forward...give some food to a homeless person or a local foodbank, just brighten somes day if you can.

I remember the trauma you went through when this happened, and it was right before a race so that you had to scurry to find a hotel room as I recall. You should definitely feel good about yourself. These coins are incredible, exhibiting your creativity and talent, and your attitude about giving to others is amazing!
Prayers for your job uncertainty. My son is in a similar situation. While he works for Emory (private institution) in a research capacity, NIH contributes greatly to their research, and if funding is pulled, I don’t know what will happen to the employees… or to the rhesus macaques!

This year's challenge medal is so important to me because I didn't think I could complete the entire 48.6 miles. I had been sick for most of November and my training was derailed. When @Z-Knight, whom I'd never met, handed me a medal out of the blue, I just knew I could get it done. And I did! I suspect 2025 will be my only Dopey Challenge (I'm doing only the half marathon next year), so that medal you made means so much to me. I'd say you go with your heart for the 2026 medal. What about a minimalist design, or something that really speaks to you personally? No matter which direction you go, it's sure to be wonderful and every recipient will be thrilled, just as I was.

OMG, that is so awesome to hear. I'm so glad it got you though a bit of that challenge, but you should know that it was really all YOU. You did it, you made it and you should be super proud.

Thanks for the advice - I'm gonna spend the next months trying different layouts and I'll post here so people could see what looks the best. I doubt I'll be able to top the first one but that's ok - this is still fun to do.

You should have asked - doesn't ever hurt to ask. I have 60 left and can always order more to help if you really needed a few. I don't really want to sell these per se, or at a minimum I do not want to make a profit of any sort because I don't want to take any chance of being sued by the Mouse

I think you’re about to get a lot of challenge coin requests! I would love to have 3, if that’s possible. The running characters look to be inspired from 2022, which was my first marathon, and I ran my first Dopey the following year. I have 2 friends that ran their first Dopey Challenges this year, and I know they’d love these as much as I do!

Not wanting to make a profit makes total sense. Maybe there’s some way we could contribute to next year’s coin? If not, maybe you have a favorite charity that we could donate to as a way of saying thank you?
