Any ideas on why Ann Margaret and Simu cancelled? Due to illness or?? I hope this won't be a "thing" with all of the Narrators. That would be a shame.

Ann Margaret is 82, even a minor health issue or concern could have caused her to cancel. I wouldn’t take her cancelling to mean others will.

I vote illness for now. These actors would not have been so careless with their professional schedules as to assume the strike would still be happening over the holidays + everybody is getting sick these days if they didn’t sick over fall break…

Sorry to hear that Ann-Margaret cancelled. I was able to see her first performance on 11/28 at the 5:15pm show. She was escorted on stage. I think she did a really good job and you could tell that she was really enjoying the performance as a whole. It was really cold that night so that have had something to do with it was well.

Does anyone have any experience in doing the same day dining package at Regal Eagle? I'm trying to decide if it's worth trying for it when I'm there in 2 weeks. It's only me, so I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on one of the other dining packages but I've never seen the CP before and would really like to make sure I can fit it in.

I'm not the person who typed that, but I will say last year (Dec 2023), same day Regal Eagle did not work for me. It was not available each day I was there. I'm glad I had booked table service package. NPH was the speaker that trip.

I was told that Regal Eagle availability depended on how many package tickets were not yet sold. In other words, if the Table Service Packages were sold out, then Regal Eagle doesn't get any tickets for same day.

The process for Regal Eagle is, visit Regal Eagle when they open that day, check the board out front. If there is no board, or they have tickets, go in, purchase the package/meal to get the tickets. (you can't mobile order the package)

Thank you! That is what I was thinking. Last year, it was Brendan Fraser during my dates. We will see if it stays the same as I would think Brendan Fraser would also be popular.

Unfortunately, for several years, the Candlelight Processional packages have been released after the 60 day mark for many guests and it has been a mad scramble for everyone all at once to book the dates. It really impacts the people who are on the 60 day mark when this happens. The Disney IT system often buckles under the pressure.

Never have in the past. Paid at the restaurant.

For those who’ve never done it before, make sure you are booking the CP package… it will tell you which show your ticket is good for. Many sad people realized in hindsight that they actually just booked a regular dining ressie. Don’t be one of those!
