Buy Disney gift cards with Walmart gift cards @ sams club?

i know, its kind of confusing. I know you can use Walmart gift cards at sams club, so I'm not concerned about that part. I'm wondering if they will let me buy Disney gift cards with Walmart gift cards. I talked to someone on the phone who said no, but it seems like numerous people on the internet have done this. Anyone have experience doing this? Do I have to go about it a certain way? Thanks!

I do it online, no problems. You can use up to four. I've never done it in store though.

I have done it in several different stores. The only issue has been that I haven't been able to do it through self checkout (an employee has to scan my gift cards, which have been both in printed paper form and on my phone). I have bought the gift cards while also purchasing other items (usually groceries).

I've purchased Disney gift cards with Walmart gift cards using self checkout at Walmart. I haven't tried at Sams.

I've done it at self checkout at Sams.
If you have more than one gift card you have to scan it and then put the scanner back in the base before scanning the next one. It takes some time, but i would rather do it than go through and have the poor cashier have to do it!

That's great! I remember being in self checkout and one of the employees having to come over to do it, but I would much prefer being able to do self checkout without any assistance.

How are you saving a bunch of money with this method? Walmart cards aren't usually available at a discount, and the Sams price on Disney cards isn't much of a discount, either, especially in store.

Sams sells Disney gift cards at roughly 5% off. A 3 pack of $50 gift cards is 142.98. I'll buy Walmart gift cards from somewhere like raise.com, or giftcardgranny.com at around a 2% discount. If I pay for those with my credit card, I'll get 1.5% cash back. In total, I'll save about $300 on my $3,000 trip. Maybe a bunch is not the right word, but that's a 10% discount!

Hmm that is interesting. Where i live the 3 pack is 144 and change. Can't remember exactly but i called
and was quoted that. Wonder if the guy was wrong? This was instore. Online may have different price but

That's the price in our store $144. They went up recently. But, they are $142.98 online and I pay 99 cent shipping, so 143.97 total online.
