If YOU call someone like your bank or credit card company using official numbers, they will tend to record calls, there is nothing wrong with that. The difference is you were the one initiating it.

Billboards alongToll / Interstate in Orlando area warning about scammers .
They are eliminating many of the Cash Lanes and apparently scammers are asking for payment .
I don’t know any other info about this . I’ll try to check to report updates .
Also the normal cash lane has posted Do Not Stop … so it is kind of scary cause it is new news to receive as you are preparing to Stop !

oh my gosh-we are getting peppered to death with bogus scamming texts about tolls! we don't have toll roads or bridges anywhere near us-have not for going on 20 years. I think the bogus company name the texts use was originally driven by our cell's area code (cuz claimed it was San Francisco bay area system) but now it's toggling through different States and regions to see if we will bite.

Those Medicare wellness checks are a sketchy way for advantage plans to get more money from the government by "finding" more diagnosis . With Medicare Advantage plans, the plan gets paid for EACH diagnosis even if you aren't treating it. My plan which is regional and one of the best was teasing people with a $25 supermarket gift card for several years. I'll bet those stop pretty soon. I figure if I see MY doc on a regular basis, why do I want to see a stranger, no less let them in my home.

I realize the ones repeatedly calling are probably a scam. But the actual service set up properly thru Medicare health insurance can be an invaluable service. Both of my parents had chronic illnesses & severe mobility issues in the last few years of their lives. While we still took them to their primary physician for most appointments, there were a few times, especially in winter, that we appreciated being able to get a provider to come to the house, instead of needing two people to get them down the steps, into a wheelchair & down a steep sloped walkway & then into a large medical building & reverse all that to get them home.
