Hello!
So I'm pretty excited to book for the Adventure but all my past sailings on DCL have been with a significant other. I'm single now with no regular travel buddy, so I'm needing to make the reservation solo.
My issue is that I'll be booking for 2026 sailing and between now and then, I will have moved to Japan and been there nearly a year. Lots can change with friends plans or even maybe a new significant other (lol not planning on it though).
Money is still a factor though. If I book for a single person, it will be cheaper than booking for 2 by a couple hundred dollars. But if I wanted to add a second person, the rate would change to whatever the rate is at the time of change, right?
The cruise I'm looking at is over a holiday so there's even a chance of it being sold out.
So, in my situation, what would you do and why?
Reserve for 1 or take a gamble that someone will go with me and book for 2?
Thanks!
