Maybe you can swing park hoppers?
I would love to know this too!! We were hoping to keep our LLMP cost low. To buy it for all 4 parks plus all 5 of the individual ride line passes would cost $500! (You can see the pricing on the app through December 6).
Well, from my experience as a solo traveler for the past 2 years, I refused to pay for Genie+ cause it was so horrible. I never purchased anything and got to ride all the rides I wanted. I did utilize Rope Drop, Virtual Queues, and took advantage of low wait times at MVMCP (while still doing what I wanted at the party). It can be done but I imagine it can be more challenging the more people you have in your party. I think you can still get what you want done and if you don't, just means you have to go back, right?
I have seen most professional crowd calendars are saying crowds will be lower the first week in December. That’s been my experience too the past two years. I think it was maybe just confusion over which week people were referring to in this thread.

We have been to WDW during the first week of December many times. Magic Kingdom is very crowded on the nights that don't have a party. Epcot tends to be crowded on the weekends. The parks are by no means empty. There will be plenty of people, especially since Thanksgiving is late this year. But it won't be super crowded like it is during the major holidays.
In general, the crowds are lower when the kids are in school.
We are arriving at POR on the same date as you are, Dec 3rd. This will be the first time that everyone in our group has annual passes, and we are going to park hop. We will be going to MK for dinner at the Plaza on Dec 4th, a non party night after spending the day at Epcot. Thursday should be a good day for Epcot.That is very helpful! Thank you. I am also hoping for AK to be open until 7, but after looking more closely at last year’s hours, it was open 9-7. The park now opens at 8am, so I’m wondering that means they won’t extend on the hour the other end
