Blue Man Group - Age ?

For those of you who have been to Blue Man group, what is the youngest age that would like the show?

We are planning a Summer trip and my son will be a month shy of 5. Is that to young? I think he would like it with the music and paint and colors, just wanted others opinion who have been.

I took my son for the first time when he was 5. It was in Chicago - the ushers were very sweet to him and brought him a pair of ear plugs just in case it got too loud (didn't use them). He loved it then and still it is one of his favorites - we see them whenever we get a chance. He was a little nervous in the beginning, but that lasted all of 30 seconds once it got going. My only suggestion would be to sit a bit back from the stage, so it is not so in your face the first time he sees them...and maybe bring a pair of ear plugs just in case.

A friend of mine just took her two grand kids, 5 & 7, and she said that they both loved it. In fact, they had their little autograph books from the parks and the Blue Men gave them both really cool autographs in their own unique way. The 7 year old girl said that out of doing Disney, Animal Kingdom, Universal, IOA, and Blue Man, the Blue man was her favorite.

My daughter is newly 6 and doesn't want to go. I've shown her pictures and videos online, and she's a bit freaked out about those "weird blue people." I think she'd like it once she was there, but I'm debating whether to take her or let her stay in the kids club while the rest of us go.

We took our then 22-month old to STOMP and she was entralled by it and will be taking her at 2y10m to see BMG when they are in our city in a few months, and I know she will love it. I have seen it with a 7 year old and he LOVED it, so I think an almost 5 would also. If he usually likes, performances, music anyway of course.

I just bought tickets and we are in the 3rd row from the stage (poncho row) center. The kids going are 18, 11, 11 and 10. It looks like a good show.
