Aulani 1 bedroom Oceanview. Review anyone?

We have a 1 bedroom oceanview booked for next month. Just wondering what we can expect for a view or if anyone has picture fromm their room?

Good question - we have both an island view 1 BR, then transferring to a 1 BR ocean view.

Pictures with room numbers would be nice to see.

For Aulani's Phase 1, the Ocean View villas are on the 6th floor and above of the DVC building that is currently opened. When Phase 2 opens on November 15, 2011, the Ocean View villas begin on the second floor of the Phase 2 building.

We just stayed in an ocean view one bedroom, 1052. It was incredible and the views are awesome!!! I would request the Ewa Tower and make sure the room number is an even one.

You will love the stainless steel appliances and granite tops. The room has a murphy bed that pulls out from where the tv is located.

My word of caution is to watch the oven and microwave. They cool a lot hotter than what you set it at. The oven likes to cut off as well.

The lanai is also great with six chairs and two tables. It is so spacious.

I have yet to see anything for Aulani as helpful and descriptive as work2play's thread for BLT.

But there is some information that might be of some help. By reviewing information in the Aulani POS, I was able to chart out the room numbers and view categories for all of the Aulani villas (see http://dvcnews.com/forum/showthread.php?6530-Aulani-Rooms-and-Views-Phase-1-amp-2-UPDATED). The thread also shows the location of the buildings for Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3.

Here is a photo from a 2 BR. I seem to only have taken one and it was when the sun was in the background so it's not that clear. Also, I was trying to get a photo of the pool and had angled the camera lens down. That the ocean to the left. Despite this photo, our view was really nice. Room 750, Ewa Tower.
