How about those nasty Jello Jigglers?? Kids love those freaky things! You can cut those into fun shapes with a cookie cutter too.

As a first grade teacher, I have seen many kinds of treats. Actually, anything is great because the birthday girl/boy gets to be the star who passes out the treats. I actually like the little treat bags that some parents send in. The kids do, too. It's almost like being at a party. And, they can have some and save some of what they receive.
