Are hotel pools open year round?

Someone mentioned to me that we may want to check to make sure the pool is open at whatever hotel we choose when we go in February, and that being outdoors, they could close seasonally? Is this true? I haven't seen anything on the websites for the hotels I'm choosing between, so can I safely assume they're open year round?

I'm at PPH in less than 2 weeks and it's says the pools are heated to be open year round. I assume the other 2 DL hotels are the same. I also looked at 4 or 5 good neighbor hotels before booking and they all had heated pools

We were at DLH the first week of March and the pools were open.

They say they are heated, but we nearly froze the one night we swam. Maybe it was just us, but they didn't feel heated. The hot tub was nice though!

All of the resort hotel pools are open year round unless going through a refurb...then you can use another resort hotel pool.

Since it can easily be 70 degrees in Feb in CA, I have not heard of any of the offsite hotels that close their pools seasonally.

We went January/February and the pool was open and very nice. It was around 15-20 C every day so perfect weather for swimming in a heated pool.

Be careful of hotels with non-heated pools. They get quite cold in the colder months.
