I know someone mentioned names and true to my user name my real name is Chantel. My nickname at times when I was a kid was Chantel la belle since I'm French. Have to admit, Chantellabelle Bakery has a nice ring to it

I also really like the suggestion of Azalea Bakery. What a pretty name!

I'm all for the "more the merrier" so keep those suggestions coming!

FWIW, my friend and I started a cake business and we call it 2chicks cakes. It's memorable, and our logo is a mix of modern and retro. It really fits with what brides, etc. seem to be looking for. What kind of demographic are you marketing to? That will make a difference, too.

*i just realized that in some parts of the country, the word "chick" might not be politically correct, but here in TX it's a pretty common term among girls. And face it, women are more likely to buy cakes

The name tells me a lot. The name implies French which tells me I will probably have more upscale options than plain cupcakes & chocolate chip cookies. The name also makes me think any person or shop will be warm, homey & inviting because it is soft on the ear.

in napa california there have been tons of trendy bakeries and sweet shops come and go over the years but the locals will tell you (and any visitor that's ever eaten from there) that the best place for the yummiest baked goods (and some of the best wedding cakes) advertises it's committment to quality ingredients via it's name:
