My DD was just watching Full House when they went to WDW. I TIVO'd it because she loves that episode.....anyway, I was watching it and wondering if any of the extras at DW at the time is somebody that I may have talked to on the DISBOARDS. It was taped in 1993, so I was wondering if anybody on here now was there at that time......Just a little fun thought. That also goes for Roseanne and Family Matters. :)

If so, have you seen yourself on TV? :happytv:

My neighbors were on the ship (Magic or Wonder) when that abc show According to Jim was filming on the ship. They looked really hard to find themselves, but didn't.

Nope. . although years ago when I started researching the college program before I applied I read on one of the unofficial CP sites that the custodial host that keeps sweeping up the popcorn after Roseanne then follows Jackie around when she's teasing him with the wrapper . . . he was just some kid on the college program! Bet he never thought when he was interviewing he'd end up on a tv show!

Not a sitcom, but we were there when they were filming something - I just don't know what it was. It was some young woman standing near the Mickey/Walt statue and talking into the camera. They did alot of takes.

It seemed it must have been some kind of documentary or information video. All I know is it was hotter than Hades and they were doing alot of makeup touch ups on her! ;)

I have pics of it somewhere - maybe I'll try and scan them and post them. Maybe someone will know who she is. :)

No, but I would die if I was!!!! My sister and I always sit on the fountain in Germany and reenact the Danny, Vicki, and Oom Pah band scene. :rotfl:
This year DH and I are going to the Coral Reef and I keep telling everyone that I hope that Jesse and Joey float by in the aquarium like they did when Danny and Vicki were eating there. ;) As you can tell, I'm a Full House junkie and those are hands down my favorite episodes.

Actually, i remember watching them on the original air date when they were on TGIF!!! We were so excited because we were going later that year for the first time ever and I remember my whole family glued to the TV when it was on. :teeth:

I was there during some of the Rosanne shots but not on camera. Just watching from the sidelines...

I just wanted to add to this that the other CM in the scene I believe still works at Disney at the Comedy Wharehouse.... i think... because I know I have seen him a few times last fall during my CP.

As for being on tv, I went for part of the Christmas prade taping last december and I was able to pick myself out in one or two frames going reallly slow with the VCR during one of the stage proformances :P and I was just out of frame for a couple shots on the main street prade part.

So what othr shows have been there.... we have full house, rosanne and According to JIM... I also remember Step by Step (where i believe Cody tried to ride all the rides in one day... but I could be wrong) and Family Matters...

Anyone else remember any other sitcom shows?

We were at MGM once and a film crew was walking around taping something for a Canadian show. I have no idea what. I seem to remember it being along the lines of a documentary but I'm not sure.

What was the show with Stevel Urkel? He proposed to the girl at the Castle during fireworks.

We weren't there for the taping, but we watched the original airing of the 2nd Full House episode in our room at POFQ. Later that trip, waiting in line for ice cream in the shop on Main Street, we stood right next to Scott Weiner, who played DJ's boyfriend Steve and was also the voice of Aladdin. My DDs were 9 and 6 at the time, loved Full House and the oldest was wearing her Aladdin hat. She was sooo embarrassed when she actually bumped into Scott while leaving the shop and he said "Whoa" to her. We called it her Near Brush with Greatness.

In 2004 I was interviewed for a special that was supposed to air in Australia . . . . no idea if I was ever actually on the air, but it was still very cool! It was in front of the Walt/Mickey statue as well.

I wasn't at WDW for any of the filmings, but I love watching all those old WDW specials! I have them all on video! Roseanne, Full House, Family Matters, and also Boy Meets World, Step by Step, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Does anyone know where the family from Step by Step stayed on the show? I can't tell which resort they're at. But they do get out of a DVC vehicle, so I'm guessing they stayed at a Disney Resort.

I could swear in the Rosseanne episodes they stayed in an offsite hotel. Looked like a high-rise. Downtown Disney resort maybe? I dont know why Disney would have them stay off-site.

back when the Disney Cruise was the "Big Red Boat" they shot some photos for SI swimsuit on the private island. (a little on board too,) I guess that really does not count, but after twenty years, I still remember that photo shoot as one of the greatest things I have ever seen.

Last August I was walking by the elevators on the 4th floor of the Contemporary & noticed TV cameras & other equipment. So I asked them what they were filming & they told me Extreme Make Over Home Edition. I thought it was so cool because I have seen a few shows when they send the familes on vacation to WDW. I did not see the family being filmed but I assume they were at Chef Mickey's. I also asked the a Cast Member on the Atrium Club floor & she told me the family was staying at the Polynesian.
