Anyone else missed their ECV pick-up due to airline/airport problems?

Last night I received a very calming text from Gold Mobility, confirming my scheduled ECV delivery on Thursday afternoon at 2:00. Has anyone here had flights delayed(or worse) and missed their delivery scheduled time for their ECV? How hard was it to reschedule?
Frankly, part of me can't believe that with all the potential for damage/loss this hurricane carries with it, THIS is what I'm focused on.
 
Honestly, they are very good, they will send you a text the night before and you just let them know if you are delayed or arriving early (yes that can happen too with the weather) and they will adjust accordingly. DH and I have never had to wait for them, they were always waiting on us.
 
I always schedule our ECV delivery for the morning after we arrive. We do not typically go to a park on arrival day and we can use our wheelchair or rollator if we want to go get food or wander around a bit. But after a 5 hour flight, we usually just want to eat and relax.

A couple years ago we got stuck because of Hurricane Ian. We ended up staying an extra night. I called to let them know we were going home that Friday and to reschedule the pick up to Friday. They could not guarantee the time I needed it picked up, but said since it was due to an emergency I could leave it with Bell Services (or park it in the lobby and put the keys in the back pocket and they would find it to grab it). Not sure how that would work as they were able to come get it earlier and we wanted to head out early to the airport, so we just got an uber as soon as the scooter was picked up.
 
Oh, No-at 2 pm, I'll be at OKW, waiting for the delivery of my scooter....Maybe! Although actually I think this little weather thing called "Milton" might have other plans.
I’m confused but happy you aren’t thinking you’re flying into MCO on Thurs afternoon! Since you’ll already be at OKW, I’d call Gold tomorrow to verify they intend to deliver on Thurs- and give serious consideration to requesting they put the delivery off until Fri when should be safer for them to deliver (and for you to exit the building and get your ecv).

In April our flight arrival time in MCO (from BWI) changed 11 times. I did not think we would even get down there that day. When the flight finally started boarding I texted Gold Mobility that we would not be there in time to meet the ECV delivery. They were easy to work with and were able to deliver it early the next day.
 
Looks like they're planning to make us one of their first deliveries-they did leave us a message that they'll deliver on the 10th at 2:00. So far our plane isn't reporting any delays.

The flight originates in Austin Texas. But when I checked just now, it was cancelled. Rats!
 
Can you reschedule trip?
Yes, I think I've spent the entire afternoon on the phone. Now we're at OKW Saturday thru next Friday. DH and DGD moved their golf from Sunday to Tuesday. Moved our resort reservation-just shifted a couple days. The silver lining is that, although DS and family go back on Thursday, DH and I decided that we're going to the Food and Wine Festival Thursday evening.
